@jalik7 Thanks! Yeah, I used Yafaray and photon mapping, it really gave a lot to this look.
Part 2: The tree dies due to the dog repeatedly peeing on it, then he has to come up with something to replace the tree.
that's wrong, cause apparently urea is good for plants...

@Knexxuss It was done using constant type keyframes, placed by hand. An easy way would be to use a script, but I didn't have time to search for a programmer.

great movie, the art style hides the fact it was a 3d model and makes it seem more realistic in a way.
@TheGrilluz Sorry, no time for a tutorial. But here is a detailed description: Each room is in a separate scene, duplicated from the preceding one and modified. Each has identical camera motion. In post production I stitched the rooms together with animated rectangular masks. Since the perspective does not change, and the camera speed and angle stays the same, the shots match.
I really like this animation. Great idea,simple and awsome, I like the lighting, the scenes characters great job.
I'm having 2 little questions for the creators.
1. Can you tell me the song name?Sounds familiar I'm pretty sure I heard that tune before.
2. Can I post the link to this short in our forum as a reference? Just for study.

the camera movement looks fluid but the characters look like the are animated with 12fps or something. i find that interesting. how did you achieve that?

the figures look like they've been animated in stop-motion :-)
The story (the conclusion) is sad - but also happy in some way. The film - is definitely funny ;)
