- In this video we will visit a factory that manufactures large diameter shafts for heavy industry.
Here we will see firsthand the steps in the shaft manufacturing process from design to mold making, block casting and CNC machining.
0:33. The mold is put into an underground pit ready to pour molten steel into.
0:54. Steel is heated at a high temperature until it is melted, then it is put into a container and transferred to a casting mold.
2:17. The model simulates the process of molten steel being poured into the casting mold and filling the mold
3:11. After the steel condenses and cools, the semi-finished products will be hoisted out of the casting pit
3:24. And transferred to the CNC machining center where large lathes will perform the machining work to smooth the surface of the shaft.
7:39. Boiler manufacturing process
First time seeing this. We don't appreciate the people doing this nearly enough. Amazing skilled workers, and brave. Amazing processes.
Vốn những bài hát ngày xưa đã rất hay rồi mà thêm giọng hát giàu cảm xúc của Phúc nữa thì đúng là cực phẩm cover😍
what immense machinery, I feel so small making metal objects for furniture 😟
Maşallah hayırlı işler dilerim merhaba nasılsınız
Yea btw, the tolerance on that is +/- .0005. Here's some calipers. Make sure it's on size. LOL
Amazing.
The turning is not to ‘smooth the surface’. It is to machine to finished dimensions.
It's mind blowing what man can make
2:00 Old technology that still holds true today !
Ikabare...hadede
@3:50, The machine in the background is a submerged arc welder, a very dusty and dirty operation located right NEXT to a machine tool. What are they thinking?????
Wow. . .incredible so great amazing😅😅😅
You know it's big when you need a crain to lift the micrometer.
Great jazz!
I like this video. It's great.
Interesting....I've seen other videos on youtube where they make these kinds of rolls or shafts by squeezing a heated slab of metal in a press (forging). I wonder how the end product compares to this process, where they simply cast it in the shape they want? Would the forged product be stronger?
Forged is MUCH stronger. These are low gravity casting steel. It's the cheapest form of steel you can get. Very porous, cannot be bent and tends to deform over time.
It’s like a episode of mr Rogers where they go visit a factory
Top 👏👏👏👏

Mark My Words I Think This Video Wents Viral in Future
Or what will primitive human think if this video went back to the past.
👍🦅..

Wowed 👏🏽📐
Это стальные прокатные валки?
1:06........Who TF pours CE Cups for molten steel......please check and let me know......Because I've been in the industry for 7 years and have yet to come across this practice for steels

anyone know what's this pipes are used for ?
heat exchangers, probably for boilers
