He is called, you ever notice how he preaches with no notes or anything, that's how well he knows the Bible. That's true preaching. He has inspired me so ever since I started watching every day for the past year. I do thank God for the vessel he is.
Heard the story of this woman plenty of times, but never like this. I was just like her, not realizing that only Jesus could satisfy. Praise God for his word and his truth!
Oh my goodness, Jesus gave me living water , so many years ago, back in 1974, February 20, to be exact, was the day my life changed forever. I have not been lonely since, praise God.
Amen I have noticed that Jesus never rebuked the average person but did rebuke the teachers who knew more about the Lord than the average person. Great teaching, thank you! :)
I knew this before I logged in.....but its because the Holy Spirit guided me to be ministered by my brother joseph.....I had just declared myself lonely.......this may have been my 2nd time doing so, but I knew that I needed to commune with the Lord. and I too thank God for my brother joseph prince.
I'm struggling with this now. I've never had a gf or any romantic relationship and i"m in my early 30s. It sucks. I know I need to be healthy about it and know ultimately Jesus is my void, he will fullfill me. Not another person. BUT the other side of it we are created to have relationships, doesn't mean romantic but...I know my other half should compliment me, not complete me. No one can but Jesus.
God wants the best for his child, and wonderful woman that loves the Lord also so you can share that together, believe together and be powerful in the Lord.. Find some scriptures and on the promises on love, and relationships in the bible, and confess them daily in your prayers.. then focus on Jesus not on what you want easier said right? :) but when I have those thoughts I cast it down. Magnify Jesus bigger than the problem, keep your eyes on him. I want that too, its not my first priority but i'm not lonely, i have peace and joy of loving the Lord and learning more about him.. i've cast the care on him, plus you want what God has for you. I've been a terrible picker so I'll let God handle that for me and I'll take a back seat until.. Be blessed you are loved..
Wow, thanks. I appreciate. Who knew the internet can be so healing lol. You know when I was younger sure a lady would be nice but it wasn't as prevalent as it was now (I think cause i"m older etc.). Like it just hit me. But I've been learning a lot about myself and thought patterns. Issues beyond this one. I totally agree with you. But we all have those days. Learning about and dealing with spiritual warfare. Totally would like a woman who is godly etc. Not using her as a spiritual crutch but to lift each other up in Christ. Thanks!
matthew.....you are precious and just know that people aren't missing out just because something is missing. Count it a huge blessing and a provision of happiness to you! Think of all the people that get caught up in situations/people that they seemingly can't or won't get out of....esp ones where theres a child involved. Perhaps try testing/ready-ing yourself by developing a or a couple meaningful long term heterogenous friendships. Let God take it all from there, both your personal growth and your future relationship, whatever that may be. Remember, He has your future in store but, it doesn't just show up, YOU have to walk into it. Don't forget love and being in love are 2 diff things.

The more I hear of Jesus does and says things and in the context he does it makes me more and more in awe of him. Jesus is Lord.

i have been with others and felt lonely...emotional needy...but in His presence He has a special place for the lonely....enjoy this...TRUTH.
