Will Hazell , not necessarily! On a DG Pokerwork (and the same up to transposition in other keys) you can ‘fake’ a minor on the third/Bm chord ( B bass plus D major chord button, creating a B minor 7) and a minor on the second/Am chord that Mel used here (A bass plus C major chord creating an Am7). I actually prefer using those and also having the option of the B major chord when I want it!
@@susangerofsky Hi there Susan, many thanks for the wonderfully helpful reply! I'm not sure my brain can handle faking minors just yet, but glad to know the option is there!
Will Hazell, glad this may be helpful! I learned about the Bm7 option from an offhand comment from another box player in a session a couple of years ago, and then found the Am7 myself. They have been delightful and transformative!
Superbe, merci pour les liens proposés....j'adore.
Thank you!
Hi Mel, a bit of a beginner question... but presumably I would need to remove the thirds from my Hohner Pokerwork to have a whack at this?
