Hi Lee, No problem ! Hope you get to visit some of them. Funnily enough, the very first site we visited on our first campervan trip to France a few years ago was a Les Castelles site in the champagne region. We were only there for a couple of nights as we were on our way to Lake Geneva but it was very nice ! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Remember to hit subscribe if you enjoy the channel ! cheers JT
Hi jt great video again , thanks for help on which tent you own we managed to get a bear lake 6 first edition locally in great condition and we are hopefully holidaying in huttopia noirmoutier next aug 😀
Hi Joanna, thanks for your kind comment! Glad you managed to source a Bear Lake tent. We have not visited Noirmoutier yet, perhaps we will add to the list for this summer...
Hi There ! Thanks for subscribing and getting in touch. It is pretty easy to plan a trip to France, but the key is not to try and do too much. Work around your crossings, where you want to visit / stay and your routes between these. Do you want to go autoroute or local roads. Autoroute is quicker, but more expensive due to the toll charges. We have found when we have been travelling and setting up our tent as well, that less is more, stopping at less campsites is less tiring and stressful. It takes half a day to set up and pack down. This is not so much of an issue if you are travelling in a Motorhome or self contained camper as your set up/pack down will be a LOT quicker. We discovered the Huttopia range of Campsites a few years ago and really like their back to nature relaxed feel, as such we tend to book ahead with them before we set off, and try to keep journey time between sites to around 4 hrs. 2hrs drive, have a break, then 2 more hours to destination. Don't get too stressed if it doesn't go completely to plan, and remember in a camper you can always go on some where else. Either way, you will have loads of fun I am sure. There are lots of videos on the channel of places we have seen and campsite reviews, feel free to get in touch if you have any more questions. Hope this helps....?!?!? Cheers JT
Hi Kevin, ! we have an outwell bear lake that we use alongside the van. Have had it for a few years now and it’s great. Takes a little while to pitch, but is great for longer stays. Thanks for watching and getting in touch! JT
