Abortion bans were wrong in 1960, and they are still wrong today. My grandmother, Adele, died at 31 years old from a backroom abortion after being denied access to a safe, legal procedure.
Radical politicians like Nancy Mace have brought those extreme abortion bans back, putting lives and freedoms at risk. In Congress, I will protect women and families from tragedies like mine.
