Bro don't tell me this version of holy orders isn't absolutely terrifying. when ky's hair goes down and this version of holy orders plays it's not "you're fighting ky kiske" it's now "you now face ky kiske, king of the nation of Illyria."
It's more like king ky is magnolia, but when his hair is down... now it's the gear slayer, the ruthless hero who was raised for a sole purpose. Of course he's all grown up now and is no longer that.
This version of Holy Orders reminds me so so so so much of a track that Falcom would use in their games, especially in an Ys game. The video I first heard this on made it really hard to really make out the actual melodies and I spent hours looking through all of my Falcom soundtracks trying to find which game it came from. Felt really dumb when I realized I should have just gone through the GG2 OST first, but man it really gives off the same vibes to me as a Falcom song
fkin love this theme so much, it's also very helpful that you break down some of the parts i cant get right bc im just starting to pick up the guitar again and Holy Orders is what I chose to learn first
2:55 I would point to the GGxBB 2011 live version of Holy Orders and argue Daisuke found yet more ways to improve it. Also I didn't realize quite how hard it is on guitar, as a piano player, because a lot of the challenging bits for guitar are fairly straightforward on the piano. Not easy, but definitely not anywhere near as physically demanding.
I’m so hyperfixatied on gulity gear, ky in General. I have a friend who plays guitar, and a friend who plays violin so I’m determined to learn this song on both (I’be barely touched an intrsument.)
I love how happy you look when you shred that solo.
It really seems a fun song to play.
It was the first guilty Gear song I learned lol the original XX version. Still remains one of the most fun Daisuke tunes to play.
KYA and Holy Orders III were the line Daisuke said: *cracks knuckles* "My boys deserve more justice".

Set those grinders, you are not leaving the corner.

Yeah, sounds like it would be a boss theme in one of the Cold Steel trilogy games

Hands down my favourite iteration of holy orders in my opinion feels kys regal side the most
Thunder and spark, in the heart of the dark.

I feel like that intro line is underrated. Nice one.
Please do the theme of my favorite guy, Leopaldon
Big agree with this

This song is amazing, I like the Original better though
Getting REALLY strong Blazblue vibes from this. This soundtrack predates Calamity Trigger by 2 or 3 years right?
By 1 iirc, Overture was on 2008 and Blazblue released back in 2009
this version is from a year before bb but the original is 6 years before
ah yes the prototype of blazblue soundtrack
