@Wane Gates Jordan is better than hakeem, prime Jordan stomps those rocket teams, they only won when he left, and when he returned he three peated, even tho he was rusty.

@@yobro6053 doubt it. I dont think they had the front court depth to beat Houston. Hakeem wouldve feasted on them without a rough bigman down low for Chicago. Cause Horace had left already as dy and rodman was still in san Antonio. Doesnt matter if Jordan was there for bot, Chicago always had trouble with hakeem in the reg season. And that's if they even got past Ewing in Ny or shaq in Orlando.

@SamYG This must be a isaiah thomas burner acc. The 1-9 youre referring to ('85) 1-3 to mil ('86) 0-3 to bos and ('87) 0-3 to bos he averaged 35.5pts 6.7reb 6.5ast 2.2stl in those 10 games...those celtics one of the greatest teams and with Bird, Parish and Machale the best front court ever. In the '86 series Bird called him god dressed like mj and Bird wasnt known for his kind words. As far as Pistons...lets give that team some love...undertated...beat that great celtic team...beat showtime lakers...beat a great portland team and was mj greatest hurdle...The Jordan Rules was a real thing. Force mj to the middle, colapse and foul hard...in '89 series mj avg over 13 ft att per game and det avg 25 fouls per game keep in mind it was a half court game then with much fewer possesions det was fouling off ball forcing guys like grant and cartwright to hit free throws. They would trap with 2time dpoy 6'9 dennis rodman and made it tough for mj to drive and when he did the bigs were waitng in the paint ready to leave thier man and foul. ('88) det 27.4ppg 8.8reb 4.6ast 2stl...('89) det 29.6ppg 5.5reb 6.5ast 2stl....ffwd to '90 mj brought that D and bulls matched pistons def toughness everybody knows how the story goes from there. Start of 1st 3peat. I think all the bad boy piston d talk motivated mj to be the best backcourt defender in his gen, and cetainly forged him for those battles against knicks in years to come. Ill await your rebuttal but i wont hold my breath,

He played dfense as ferocious as he scored.
He also made players around him better in his later yrs more then kobe.
This is why i will always call magic johnson the best laker all time.
Kobe will always be the most dominant laker.
Magic made huge contracts for his teammates and he dominated.

And Jordan didn't forget, way later when Jordan came back and played as an old man for the Wizards on his farewell tour. There is one game, where he just put it on Garnett, just time and time again, in his face deliberately showing him he still could do it. It's incredible to me, because that Jordan was old and worn out, and Garnett was in his Prime, and Jordan was just torching him, and people have the nerve to say Jordan only played against little guys. Go look up Jordan scoring in Garnetts face, over, and over again. It's just incredible.

It was no secret that when Mike felt dynamic and energetic he'd wreck you at will, because it was so much speed, explosiveness, stamina, creativity and efficiency for anybody to handle and I aint talking about a single player,I'm talking about 2-3 of them combined. Mike's engine pre first retirement burned hard and long, 7 years of consistent manic destruction. When he came back, which is the time KG talks about, he didnt have that marathon sprinter engine anymore, so he was a bit more strategic and cautious with his energy. From time to time though, someone would get him all pumped up and he'd then proceed to administer a 5-7 minute ole' Mike Jordan type of stomping.
