You are right - that's really important for MIDI work. MusicLab instruments use Cubase/Logic octave numbering system (most common, with C-2 as lowest MIDI note), while FL and Cakewalk Sonar have 2-octave higher note names.

is there a way to avoid to trigger a "repeat key" (for example a strum up-dow\muted up-down) if i don't want them?
Not clear what you mean. You can produce Mute/Bridge Mute using Velocity FX, but up/down strum can be produced only with Repeat keys
