It's an incredible Guitar VST with features I've been waiting on for years. I've made requests to multiple VST Developers asking for these features, especially having such a vast array of functions which can be mapped to velocity. For Live Play this will make things so much easier as it's almost as if you've been given a 3rd hand.
Thank you for the review. It showed me a lot of things I didn't know but also left several empty spots... I bought RealpLPC this week and want to get to know the instrument better. Guess I'll have to read the manual too 😀, which is always a sensible thing to do. Lots of great things under the hood here.
I'm having trouble triggering a specific fret. When I go to play an ' A' it plays the open of the 'A' string, but I want the 5th fret of the 'E' string as the timbre is slightly thicker. I can't figure out a way to do it and It's driving me mad.
I can't get it to work in Reaper,I create patterns in Real LPC and drag them to Reaper as midi files but they do NOT make a sound at all. Their forums are impossible to register on even though I bought both Real LPC and Real Strat. I get a confirmation email for the forums but it tells me to print and fax my email which is ridiculous. P.S. Zoom function is broken also with latest update,it just zooms a small part of the plug in screen.
Once the pattern is in the reaper piano roll you need to put in a keyswitch (a midi note) above the pattern in the piano roll. This keyswitch or midi note plays the pattern. example put in a midi D note and the patttern will play using D chord.
120 percent ZOOM is broken for me,ARGH,starting to hate this plug in now,It must be only good for 1080p monitors? And if anyone can show me how to import the REAL LPC patterns aas midi notes,I would love that. If you drag an LPC pattern onto reaper,it shows the notes but does not play anything (no sound),even when exiting pattern mode. Pissed off, mucking around for a long time trying to get this plug in to work. I have not used them for a while because of the buggyness.
Hello. Anyone have how to change the "Muted up" or "Muted down" note to another note? I try to explain me better: When you play a "G" note in solo, the "Muted notes" in the left hand play the same G or note that you played before. To change the Muted notes you need to play another different note and they change. But, I want to change the muted note before I play another note because the muted note goes before. How can I do this?? I supose that is a stupid question but I don't know how to fix this. Thank you so much.
Henry Slim if you press down C1 and D1 together, it will later palm mute and sustain so you easily go back and forth between them based on velocity. Let me know if that helps.
Please ignore my advice. I was speaking about the Ample Guitar plugins. RealLPC works differently. What you're asking is how to change articulation quickly during a performance. The best thing to do in RealLPC is to a sustain layer and muted layer in the performance setup. You can set the velocity at which the articulation is triggered. Let me know how that works.
Thanks for your answer. Yes, it's a way to do it but definitely I think that Ample Guitar is better to my necesities. Thanks and have a happy christmas. :)
Nothing beats RealLPC when it comes to versatility.
Free "Physical Modeling Guitar VST" (yes, that is the name) beats it IMO. RealPC doesn't even have legato and hammer-ons.
Many thanks for producing this video.
Very helpful in the evaluation process.
I like what I hear and see.

MusicLab never mess around. Serious plugin for a great review. Kuddos
Mate great review. Best Les Paul sound I’ve ever heard from a vst and your review showed all aspects. Will download tonight.
I discovered and bought this wonderful plugin thanks to you

Man that thing is deep. I do like the interface.
Cool and very useful review. Thanks a lot!
This guy is a mad genius!
very clever tutorial indeed. Thks a lot
Hopefully they will add option for your own patterns in the future.
There is already an option for your own pattern.
Thank you hifimidi 🙏♥️

😯😯😯😯😯😯😯😯🤩🤩 the sound is soo good
Perfect review, 👌🏻
P.S. Best demo I've seen. Thanks.
Here is an early 90s style pop track which I made with Guitar vst real strat 5 for clean pop and real lpc 4 for distorted lead. Thanks.
The PATTERN ENGINE...IS...very cool! Mainly...WHY...am I writing comments on a video that is 1 year old+ demo/review? One can hope, right...
I fixed the ZOOM,do not use the VST3 version ,use the standard vst2 plug in.
So how is the sample set compared to the old one? I bought Real LPC 3 quite a few years ago but haven’t used it in a long time. Thanks
In version 5 much expressive. And sound pretty good. Also there are 3 pickup in version 5.
At 35:31, have you tried changing to the "Track" button?
can you also teach some slide sounds like for reggae?

Is there any way to increase release as opposed to just note stopping when you release key
do you know how to do hammer ons with this plugin?
Live control of strum technique.....
What is your favourite Guitar Plug-in?
Also of the MusicLab Plug-ins which guitar is your favourite?
Hi HIFIMIDI I have a question. With the RealLPC 5 can you get the David Gilmour sound?
Ample guitar Stratocaster sounds pretty close
RE: MusicLab guitars. DO they all permit DROP D functionality? Thanks.
Yes. In the Bass Zone section, just choose D2.
@@hifimidi Thank you, Sir.

Hi I am wondering how you put the efx (amplitube plug in) on it??
What is that plug-in
May you provide me the name brand plugins??
Not sure what DAW you're using
but you have to assign RealLPC to a mixer track and then simply add Amplitube to that mixer track.

That pattern feature does not work in Reaper.
