Candela needs less time in between episodes. The long lay-off hurts the story telling because people forget what’s happening. If we can either get it in shorter bursts or less time in between shows it will still be difficult for regular folks to get in to.
I would like CR to continue Candela Obscura but it should be a miniseries that is done every six months, for example. I think it's a genuine different genre actual play for the future, which will also almost certainly include a Daggerheart campaign. The TLOVM trailer is as awesome as we have come to expect and I can't wait for my weekly dose from October - December, presuming there are 12 episodes in the season as in S1 and S2!
CR's campaign 3 is getting kind of weird with a number of creepy themes added...pushing the boundaries of storytelling...wondering where they are going with it. As for Candela I already voiced my opinion all I want to see how they handle this...since this is the first time CR didn't turn a project into gold.
1. The MM Alt cover is freaking sweet. But I confess I still want all the standard ones. They just look epic. 2. Holy frak about Warmachine. But a lot of folks weren't happy with how Steamforged treated Guild Ball. But obvious Warmachine is much bigger. 3. What happen with the 4e Warmachine launch?
I like the concept of Candela Obscura. But i feel like the consistency, or lack of, is killing it. Having one episode a month, with only 3 episode arcs makes it very skippable. It's hard to get invested in such a short story spread over such a long gap.
Are you kidding me? Character Sheet streams two "Bradford activities" stories in a week with no comment regarding an obvious conflict of interest in Bradford working simultaneously on behalf of competitors in the industry (Roll 20 & Fantasy Grounds). Talk about burying the headline! (edited for clarity)
@@TheCharacterSheet Sorry if I misunderstood what was said in Character Sheet's "This Changes Everything" video posted June 4th. I thought I heard a whole lot of talk about Bradford and Roll 20 working together to merge former Demiplane services with Roll 20 services. What did I get wrong? Is Bradford doing nothing with Roll 20 following the sale? And by the way, thanks for all you do. I just found this scenario oddly under represented (if I have it right).
People keep saying they don't have a healer since FCG died but both druids and bards can be great healers too. I've filled that role with those classes in my group. I know it doesn't help their immediate situation but as soon as they get a long rest Fern could change her spell selection and be just as effective as a cleric. With Dorian it depends on what spells he has chosen as he levelled but I'd bet he at least has Cure wounds. Edit: I just watched the cooldown for 97 and Matt said the same thing: Laura said "we don't have a cleric" and Matt jumped in with "You've got a druid and a bard, though" and everyone seemed to ignore that.
Still don’t understand why you repost the entire trailer in full - just seems like padding and taking money from the pocket of the people who actually made it

We don't hate the miniseries idea at all, just give it a separate day from Thursdays, and lets get em all back to back weeks and shorter lengths!

I might do 2alt covers and 1 standard. First time I’ve thought of alt covers for an edition. I’m going to check out the survey

He’s not working “simultaneously” for competitors. He used to work for Demiplane, now he works for Fantasy Grounds.

60-minute weekly episodes would make Candella a lot more approachable.
