@@Lenmorey unfortunately , not with the .25 cal. Not enough energy. But some of the .30 higher energy slingers can at close range. It's mostly illegal due too small caliber. The .35 higher energy and higher calib. (.45, .50, 72..) are a definite for deer or larger. .
Happy Fathers Day to all… 🎯 I don’t own a pcp air rifle but haveBenjamin Durango, break barrel. It shoots well. Break barrel rifles are hard on scopes. From the push and pull motion when fired. Very good trainer at 50 yards. After that it falls off drastically. Never fired a PCP air rifle I heard they are very accurate up to 100 yards
I must have one! I have a Air Force PCP but it is not regulated. Looking forward to the multiple load test.
For pellets try the JSB Mk11 33.95 gr. & try also the FX pellets offering in the same weight! also with the H&N baracuda match heavies 30.86 gr. & Benjamin comes at 27.8 gr.there are also heavy pellets for hunting like the Eunjins (Seneca rebranded)!

when you find a tin of pellets that gives the kind of groups you want make shore you order more with the same batch number as pellets are far more temprimental than centrefire ammo. batch number shoud be on sticky label on bottom of tin
I would like to see a test with this zeroed at 100 yard and then see how high it shoots at 50 yards. The rise this way would not be near as drastic as the drop from a 50 yard zero to 100 yards.
Pellet guns are awesome . I have a big possum problem that attack my fruit trees . All I can afford is a 177 break barrel but it is 1100 fps and I have taken last year 33 at about 30 yards . Shoot at the back of the ear . I use open sights because it's mostly at night . Can't use rim fire because I have neighbors close by .

With the slugs you'll get your 1" or less @ 100yrd just make sure they're going at least 950fps
Try some cardboard. Prints clean holes and not tears like paper. And try some 3/4" sticker dots. And do 5 or 7 shot groups. Much more telling than 3.

I jumped into Airgun in with both feet. I bought the EC 3000 compressor. Kind of expensive but you get what you pay for.
I own the Air Venturi Avenger in .177.
I also on the Benjamin Kayden in .22.
And a high end JSAR Raptor with both .22 and .25. barrels. 26” long. Topped with Element Helix scope.
The Air Venturi is an excellent teaching tool for kids. It has a very high shot count. And is reasonably consistent.
I mainly guard my garden with the Air Venturi Avenger.
With the price of ammunition these days I use my air rifles to practice. And now I can afford to practice every day.

Nielsen Specialty Ammo…diabolos can’t touch these slugs in my pcp! Order some sample packs to figure out your guns favored caliber (.2155 to .218) and grain weight.

Very nice accuracy! Pyramyd AIr is an excellent resource. Great customer service. Yeah, they're not your typical BB gun anymore. I had Hajimoto upgrade my 22 cal Umarex Guantlet and at 70 yards he got 3 pellets touching. It's also more air efficient and a good deal more powerful. Killed a coon with in at 40 yards. Rolled him and barely kicked before he expired.

I have the Avenger in .22 cal. Having several air bull-lot slingers, the Venturi is a favorite to reach for. Right out of the box it was a pleasure to experience. The .22 pellets are still 2¢ to 6¢ apiece for really descent pellets. But remember that larger cals and projectile types can start to geta bit pricey but sustainable. And now a lot more small company manufacturers.
*** Im' really glad you're showing air slingers. It can sooth the trigger to target itch but with a much much lower grow-cery 🙄 bill.

Happy Father's day!! Hey if you want some more accurate .25 caliber pellets try the jsb match diabolo exact king heavy mkll. They weigh in at 33.95 grains. When shot out of my Airforce Condor SS .25 at thirty yards I can split a wood match stick in half and they hit with some serious authority. Same hole groups all day long. Oh and I do believe that Donny Fl makes threaded adapters and quiet cans for your air rifle from small to quite large in alot of calibers for a long list of different air rifles. Since it's not for a firearm you simply buy it online and it's shipped to your door. And yes they are very quiet. These are only safe for air.
How many milk jugs? I shot cheap water bottles with my silly Daisy pump pellet gun .177 and it was stopped in the third at 10 yrds using an 8.5 grn. pellet.

I have an AEA hp SS in .25. It’s a 10rd semi auto that’s shoots 700-800fps range depending on the pellet and it’s a lot of fun. Super effective so far. I put a Donny FL moderator on it and it’s backyard friendly.

Adam , You should try some of the slugs that are specially made for air weapons they even do them in .177 through to .50s like those You use in the Dragon Claw , they have a much higher BC and apparently hold their energy far better than the Diabolo pellets , also they are not as effected by the wind . It sounds dumb but like 22lr you need to shoot somewhere in the 15-50 rounds when testing a new pellet or bullet. For me and others it does make a difference.

Not sure if you're aware or not but, the rifle is tunable depending on projectile type & weight by increasing/decreasing reg pressure & hammer spring preload.... tuning can make a huge difference in accuracy depending on the projectile... Keep the videos coming! Good stuff!

How many shots do you get per charge? I'm curious if they charge to 2500psi and have them regulated to let's say 1000psi so you have some reserve.
This one is regulated. Depends on your setting but this one can get 30-60 on a charge depending on your settings

Most air guns fill to 3000psi. I think the avengers go 3650. Some guns take 4500 max charge. The nice thing with the avenger is the easily adjustable regulator with a gauge while a good number of the guns have adjustable hammer spring only, if at all . The avenger is a price per value leader , darn shame it isn't made in America.....

I so hate my pcp .35 cal. It cant group polymag pellets further than 20 yards. And 150 grainers slug groups barelly at 25 yards.
When i bought my pcp, after watching airforce 357 texan videos, i thought i was group at a 100 yards

I shoot a .357 and found it to be very fussy. I believe most pellets are undersized for the bore. Airgun slugs are kinda pricey, but you have another option. I found my Texan loves .358 soft cast pistol ammo. I buy semi and full wadcutters made for 38 Special and 357 Mag.
Have to ask/suggest. Because it almost seems like you can see the pellet punch the paper and I know it would be real difficult to put up a chronograph 100yards down range maybe along with your next video a penetration test of some kind just so you know what kind of ethical shot might happen.

Strelok pro can provide you with ballistic data once you get all your variables dialed. Unless it is a starling or crow, you will have to do head shots at 100 on ground hogs and the like. Slugs will definitely carry the energy and cheat the wind better at those ranges . This gun is running at about half the energy of a 22lr load. Also there are some great FPE on animal charts on line. With a proper shot with the correct caliber it is surprising how little energy it takes to put down something.
Respectfully, this is hardly a BB gun. It has roughly the same energy as a .22lr and is fatally dangerous. In the the UK the gun your using is classed as a firearm the same as any other gun and requires a full firearms licence to purchase/own/use etc.
