Comparing vfx to buttholes to prove the existence of aliens, classic move
Shocking success rate too
He had so many ways to explain that and he used the weirdest possible way
Classy move, I must say
considering how quickly and confidently he went there, i would infer that he's used it before, deliberated on and developed it in his free time, and arrived at the erroneous conclusion that it's a solid line of defense.... it just doesn't work - at all hahahaha
Bungholes exist, therefore aliens.
Bulletproof argument if you ask me
My favorite part of the Skinny Bob clip is that it implies the 8 mm digital camera is somehow using autofocus
And that the digital time/date stamp is in camera because the auto focus and grain are applied to the stamp.
@@RuffianTuxno no, the timestamps are preprinted, you have to use them at the exact time they were made for, hence the frantic shaking
Added film overlay likely
and its sad because like, it was SO CLOSE to be good, they just needed a little bit of attention to detail, knowing that old cameras don't have the digital time stamp and auto-focus. but they had to make it as hard to see as possible to hide the bad animations, and that was their downfall.
Also hilarious to think people never thought to look at the most obvious evidence first
Jordan’s application of the philosophy of the boy who cried wolf eventually finding a real wolf plus faking then winning the lottery is a hysterical supportive argument. I’m dying.
my first thought. Dudes on crack and I love it. LOL
@@angryzombees2625 Dude’s definitely cooking crack… but let him cook 🤔
What bro be saying when they say "let him cook"
13:17 tracking down the SPECIFIC elements is THE BEST way to debunk footage.
You guys should do a segment where each artist picks a ufo clip from the internet, and tries to replicate it with CGI. Then yall take turns to show the group a side by side, and see if they can tell which is the original
I want to see this
Needs more likes
I love this idea.
This is the way. Please do this. If these can be recreated in an hour or three; please invest the time to do so. The views and monetization from the video alone will be worth the couple hours of easy work recreating these.
Thanks.
The problem with this idea is it’s just gonna make videos that actually are genuine be labeled as CGI even if their not and the poor people that have witnessed something amazing are going to look stupid to the public, then it’s going to cause a negative feedback loop that causes people so the STFU whether they capture something on video or not 😂.
You know you're in for a treat when you see Sam with these glasses
Pretty much the same glasses Nico Sallach wears in Electric Callboy's We Got The Moves
Where do we get these glasses?
Those looked so uncomfortable, I just wanted to rip those glasses off.

Slight correction: Thermal images are made up of photons as well. Photons is what you call electromagnetic energy in motion. All frequencies. It's just that *visible light* frequency photons can't go through smoke, they're too high pitched. The infra-red photons are slightly lowere pitched and can zoom right through.
The hot gases released from an airplane engine will emit infrared photons. Depending on how fast these gases will cool down, there will be a certain length of trail visible in the infrared spectrum behind the plane.
@@richardlaroche9167 I wonder about hot gasses and even airborne particulate giving off infra-red photons. You can use a thermal imaging camera to see through smoke - you don't see the smoke itself. I have a thermal camera and I'm fascinated by what gives off thermal photons and what does not. Certainly the engines themselves would be bright, but I don't kow if the exhaust gasses would be giving off infrared light.
Liquids absolutely give off IR light, and it's fascinating to look at hot and cold liquids mixing, but I never see anything from steam or smoke.
@@ColinFox If the smoke is at room temperature and if the camera is calibrated to detect human body temperature, it will not be visible indeed.
If the gas is hot, particular smoke or just flue gas, it will be visible on the infrared camera.
@@richardlaroche9167just curious if you meant "in particular, smoke" with smoke as a type of hot gas? or if it was meant to be about "hot, particulate smoke" being smoke made of particles which are all hot themselves.
I suspect the latter.
@@freescape08 Smoke is by definition a gas having solid particles in suspension. It can be hot or cold.
I used the term "particular smoke" to be more precise because some people could mix things up.
For example during a concert when devices produce "smoke" on stage, it's typically glycol vapor and not actually "smoke".
Flue gas coming out of the chimney from a natural gas furnace will contain such a tiny amount of solid particles that it's not appropriate to qualify it as "smoke". It will essentially be hot gases (co2) and moisture. Yet, people will call it "smoke".
And if it's temperature is high enough above the threshold calibration of an IR camera, you'll see it.
The Scientists Against Myths group (check their channel, it's very good) did a 3-part multi-year deep dive into everything wrong with the "mummies" in the last clip. In brief, the "alien mummies" are parts of real Peruvian mummies that have been illegally excavated, modified, reassembled, and passed off as alien. In the z-rays you can see things like the the hands having bones removed to give the 3-fingered look, fingers being extended with bones from the removed fingers and from toes, arm and leg bones replaced with arm and leg bones from other original mummies (sometimes upside down), etc. You can also see the progression of the artificers skill over time if you look at the entire sequence of "discoveries".
In addition, the guy who supposedly found them has been busted repeatedly for grave robbing, illegal trafficking in artifacts, and confidence schemes.
That is so awful, the Peruvian native population has suffered so many colonial horrors already, and now those same colonisers are literally stealing and mutilating their corpses for 15 minutes of fame.
There was also the issue of the skulls being llama skulls cut in half and turned around backwards. Essentially, the 'faces' are the interior of the skulls, immediately behind the eye sockets.
@@CineSoar Yep. So many issues with these 'alien' mummies.
That is not a good channel at all. What the hell
Sad to take mummies and turn it into that..
Would love to see a render challenge where they all compete to make the most believable ufo clip.
Or even a ball and cup trickshot render challenge.
In a way they already did
they did something similar already, and sneaked it into an episode and then made a new ufo clip which impressed sam and nico.
I would love to see an episode like this. Like what they did to sam, but a full episode of it
Great idea!
@@albr4Yeah, but it wasn't fair because they snuck in real UFO footage. I mean, how else could it look so good?
Gotta throw out there that photons ARE piercing the smoke. Thermal images still capture photons. It's just not in the wavelength visible to the human eye
Yup, exactly. IR radiation is still photons.
Ah fair point!
Also, all satellites don't move at the same speed relative to the surface of the earth...
And don’t rely on veritasiums example. They were using smoke that climatizes to ambient air temp, otherwise you wouldn’t see anything. If they’d used a smoke grenade, the smoke would carry heat and as long as it is hotter than 37C/98F you wouldn’t see the person behind it. Everything has some heat, just as even dark places still have some light; the disparity in temp/light needs to be enough that the sensor doesn’t get blown out. Hence smoke from a plane has heat.
@@CorridorCrew you think we still believe in you guys? after what you did on the "leaked Spiderman" video and saying to your viewers that its FAKE. and someone whos an ex-disney employee came out that you and a couple of youtubers and influencers got paid to deny the video. nice try
I want to clarify about Maussan's mummies, he presented them originally to Peru's congress and no one paid attention to him, at that time he worked with a biologist named José de la Cruz Ríos López, he presented a study that argued the skull of the mummies was a modified llama skull (or a similar animal) and the rest of the skeleton was made from several different bones from different individual humans and animals.
He later commited fraud by testifying they were real.
Maussan was later the MC for a congress event in Mexico were he presented the mummies again at the end, when the actual event was over; the only study done after consisted of an MRI (which he only agreed to because he had done it before in a different set of mummies, and the fabrication marks weren't obvious), and x-ray; both show the creature is complete unviable as a real living being, and that the bones not only don't have symetry, they also don't articulate with one another.
The UNAM (Autonomous National University of Mexico) came forward to debunk claims of studies done on the creatures.
Another test that was done, not on these two mummies, but on others from the same set, showed that different parts of the body give different C14 date results.
Also, in Peru, people have come forward to talk about how they participated in making the mummies
You guys should do a "make a ufo footage" challange. Give each one 1 day to come up with the most "reallistic" footage, to show how easy is to come up with a footage like this.
They already did
As a former Durango native, this was wild to see my hometown and old stomping grounds be talked about first thing. Also, locals would TOTALLY dress up to mess with tourists. I did.

I get what you're saying, but I bet that hurts them to read 😂
Love how Wren just steps off immediately after hearing the argument that CGI aliens were impossible in 2011.
My new favorite argument I've been hearing a lot from smooth-brains is, "You can't fake something because AI image manipulation didn't exist 5+ years ago" like that is the only form of faking something.
No one serious has said that
The fun part is some of those same people will swear up and down that the moon landing is faked and we totally had the tech for faking that footage back in the 1960s.
@@Rizzatouilleno one arguing any of this footage is real is a serious person
Right. It's the old misconception that 12 year old kids have when they think that technology was in its infancy before they were born. It's because kids are always learning new things about the world, and they make the mistake of thinking that what's new to them is also new to everyone else.
The take away here is that when you see someone write something really dumb on the internet, it's probably from a small child.
After reading these comments, i now 100% believe that 30-50% of the population have no inner thoughts.
We are literally living amongst NPCs.
It's amazing right? It's been proven that the clouds are infact moving in the video, yet these professional vfx artists couldn't even tell.

I’d love to see them debunk “sea monster” videos
What is a sea monster video?
That would be interesting, especially since the giant squid used to be a "sea monster" before they found evidence of it's existence. The ocean is so vast
Whoever did that "old" alien footage must've been pretty young. The oldest footage they've ever seen came off a VHS tape and it had it a timestamp so of course, all old footage has a digital timestamp.
Probably... I mean I kind of doubt that a 60 year old guy thinks to himself _you know what, I think I am going to create a fake alien video..._
Though I have to say, if it was a single person who did it, I am impressed. Sure Avatar was out at the time and all of that was possible, but it still looks great especially for the time when this was made.
young? That would be very impressive if they made a fake UFO video with all of this effort. You cant assume peoples age with this much dedication to their work
@@DeletedDevilDeletedAngel You are severely underestimating the technical skill of children.
@@MrRizeAG I must be, well I'll be damned
Kids are working on anime as we speak - artists with skill beyond their years. In Into The Spiderverse, the lego portion animation was done by a single young student who, as a fan project of the spider verse trailer, recreating the entire thing in 'lego' CGI - and he was brought on to work on the film when he wasn't at school. Definitely possible. @@DeletedDevilDeletedAngel
I’d love to see a series on debunking online “ghost” videos. There are so many of them. We all know they’re fake. But how were they faked?
I'm sure they did some episodes before of ghosts, the problem with ghost videos is it's always the same VFX or practical FX every time so it's not great content. It's either a white shadow added onto the video or a chair attached to a wire.
@@albr4yeah, I think they did a video around 2-3 years ago maybe on ghost/paranormal videos.
I honestly considered doing this. I used to frequently debunk on /r/ghosts but got sick of the same stuff. I've caught out UA-camrs faking stuff too etc.
They have a couple. Go look for them.
My parents watch those shows and it's crazy how 20% of them are just someone dicking around on after effects and the other 80% are people not understanding how cameras work. I've watched entire hour long shows where every single piece of footage was just shitty night vision picking up dust, bugs and stuff like that being mistaken for ghosts.
Actually, I believe hot contrails are consistent since they are compressed by the turbofan, although cooling relatively fast due to the vapor "surface area". The contrail vapor and the vapor in the comparative video are in this state for different reasons, thus, possibly, having different properties
They botched that bit. If you watch the whole 2 hr video it turns out the plane was on fire (lithium batteries in the cargo) and those are not contrails but smoke coming from the plane, so it actually would be hot.
@@blucat4well it waa faked so.....
Still waiting for these alleged experts to reproduce it.
At this point you guys need to recreate the MH370 "footage" to show to the UFO guy just how easy it is to make. Time yourselves and use period-correct software too, because you know that if you use anything made since then, he'll use it as grounds for "debunking."

@@swooshdave I'm assuming Ashton put out that bounty? If so, no one's seeing that $100k. A guy with the channel "wolfie6020" did a $100k challenge to prove the earth was round. What did the flat earther do? Move the goal posts. Just judging how he reacted to Niko breaking it down, he's never gonna give up that money. Now maybe with Jake being a lawyer things could get interesting, but that money is never gonna get rewarded. Still would be a cool challenge!

NIko's laugh when Jordan brings up the time code just made my day
Especially with his expression of "I didn't even notice that"
Like they use 8mm film noise and TV static overlay elements with a digital timestamp and 90s camcorder style autofocus... they literally just threw every video artifact they could think of in there, even though none of them belong in the same footage. Probably because the underlying footage looked super, super fake, and they needed to degrade it every way possible to make it pass any scrutiny.

The satellite footage looks static because it's a composite from multiple satellites. Also the "shockwave" is clearly not a shockwave in the traditional sense. For the MH370 I noticed the thermals looked weird too. Notably, the Boing 777 has an APU exhaust in the end of the fuselage by the tail, and in the supposed thermal imaging, it's cold. Same with the leading edges and nose of the plane. Those get WAY warmer than the rest of the skin of the plane.

True. But when dealing with a fool that isn't listening to frontal arguments is to make yourself seem like you're on their side and weaken the frame from that angle and allow them to dismantle the narrative when they see the flaws in their own arguments. Very much like picking a lock when dealing with people

Niko saying "just wear some stilts!" in the Bigfoot video is going to make your job so much harder
What tipped me off with the infrared footage was the shape of the shockwave. It was perfectly round as if the camera were directly behind or in front of the plane, we shouldn't be able to see such a round circle, it should be ovaloid

It's fitting that you covered Flight 370 considering the very recent court cases in China. It's important to point out the cruel time wasting of the hoaxers who give no hope or reconciliation to the families of the victims of the disaster, even if their 'art' is pretty good, for what it is.
Truth is, commercial aviation is not treated with respect in most of Asia. Once you start digging, you see common headlines about untrained pilots, pilots that can't communicate with air traffic control, companies that skip maintenance, and so on, in almost every Asian country.
Identified stock asset is such a good term. I’m going to think about now whenever I recognize sound effects from a library I’ve used.
I honestly wish this could become its own channel series moving forward. There are so many of these clips that could be debunked and they draw enormous attention and discussions. I wonder what it would take for VFX professionals to believe?

Took a look at the Danny Jones Podcast episode, and there’s definitely a lot of people defending the ufologist (Ashton?). They’re claiming that Danny push backed too hard and in a disrespectful manner, but I’m not sure if this is just a bunch of ufo believers getting defensive (considering how one of Ashton’s first counter arguments is basically to say slight pixel changes in the cloud proves they’re moving, this is what I’m going with).

My friends tried to argue that it was the "watermark" from when it was converted from film to an official digital record... in the 50s.🙄 Some people just won't accept reality, no matter how hard it hits them.😮💨 Oh well. This kind of stuff is really fun, though.😏 Great video, as usual.🙂
Wooo corridor for the win 🎉
Here is a challenge for your team. Make a clip, so throughly made that it cannot be proven as fake. Not stock footage, no cgi errors, nothing. Make the internet think it’s real and make it unprovable.
Now we gotta see who can make the best UFO footage in just a hour
surely we get to see a video that the boys made exactly like the originals, put this conspiracy to bed.
@@inteligentmonkey1haha that’s never happening these guys are bogus hack jobs
4:15 There's a third shot that looks even better, surprised you didn't include that one.
And the two aliens, wasn't it found that the bones didn't make sense? Like they were upside down and from different animals.
Alright then, picture this if you will:
10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" pose, just outside of Area 51.
Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thingy when a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this.
Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping...
Holy f*cking shit!
Then the X-Files being, looking like some kind of blue-green Jackie Chan with Isabella Rossellini lips and breath that reeked of vanilla Chig Champa,
did a slow-mo Matrix descent out of the butt end of the banana vessel and hovered above my bug-eyes, my gaping jaw, and my sweaty L. Ron Hubbard upper lip and all I could think was: "I hope Uncle Martin here doesn't notice that I pissed my f*ckin' pants."
@@rakseiify wth?
Count me in psychonaut. Grab the devil by its balls, let's ride.
@@rakseiify are you on drugs?
Still waiting for VFX artists react to 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'; first live action digital motion-control cinematography; multiple-pass minature effects; front-projection; cloud tank effects, the film is a masterclass of pre-CGI photographic and optical effects that still holds up today.
Would be great if you guys tried to debunk the Kumburgaz UFO footage from 2008. On this one you can even see the little gray men in the craft!
They can't because it was real fool
Id like to point out that the alien mummies:
1.) had no structurally functional joints. Where the femur articulates with the hips, there was no means for the femur to articulate with the hips. Humans have a ball and socket joint there (same deal in the shoulder) . It just one long bone for the femur/humerus and then it just jams itself where its supposed to meet the hip
2.) No joints in the hands, elbows or knees
If an alien is gonna be humanoid (walks upright, 2 arms, legs, eyes, ears and etc) then those joints HAVE to articulate and would be extremely similar to the human skeleton
Can you guys do a realistic animation of how an alien with such a large head would actually move about?
Mars Attack while done intentionally cartoony, does better animated big-head aliens.
The point they made is that it's impossible without a proper body frame to hold the head up.
Corridor crew should make their own fake UFO and bigfoot clips, release them anonymously, and then reveal/debunk them after they go viral. Would love to see the dubunkers try to make something undebunkable
Thank you so much for making this
I definitely enjoy these videos from an entertainment standpoint, but I hope you also realized that these are great videos to point out to someone who needs a good debunking.
The funny thing that didn't get mentioned in the skinny bob video is the neck has a pretty clearly defined muscle or structure beneath the skin. That doesn't move at all. If you look at a human neck, you can see the muscles under the skin moving and flexing to help the head. The alien doesn't have that with an even larger muscle on the neck.
Vestigial neck lol
Yes, because we all know that alien anatomy and physiology works just like a human's.
@@phish__foodbro this alien literally has the exact body plan as human, with slightly different proportions and you think it's a stretch that they would also have muscles in their neck they move their head?!??!? Stop with this foolishness
@phish__food The point was that the alien anatomy wasn't "working" at all.
Whatever the anatomy is supposed to do, it wasn't doing anything.
Also, physics doesn't change if you come from another planet. No matter how different an alien's biology might be, there are still physical rules about how things can be done.
Here's a challenge for you: the latest starship launch has been recorded by hundreds of cameras, can you construct a 3D replay of this event
this pains me, cuz my mother cant stop sending me videos of this guy. Telling me he is a professional and that he knows what hes talking about. My poor old mother.. AHHAAH
I LOVE this debunking series. Every time there is an upload, i'm sure i'm in of a treat.
I cannot tell you how much I love this channel for so so so many reasons.
I just wish they weren't as crappy about AI art and crypto BS. It's cool to see experts mess around with technology, but every time they try to push their shitty AI anime project it's just so obviously forced and weird, and they REALLY don't want to admit the problems with using AI in regards to art theft or taking people's jobs and stuff for a pretty shitty looking end-project...
It'd be different if they felt more honest about things, but these people have a pretty big audience of kids, you know? It's pretty crappy to try this hard to sell them on a controversial topic like that without really addressing the massive glaring problems with it.
@dracocrusher they have addressed it though, in pretty much every video they've done that uses AI. In their latest anime rock paper scissors they even paid an artist to create the concept art the AI was trained on with his consent.
AI is here to stay whether we like it or not. adapt or get left behind, and work out the kinks as you go. just like any new landmark technology. ever.
@@jonnypope1537 I saw that video, but you can't just do that without talking about why people were mad and ignoring the bigger conversation about AI unironically putting people out of business or about how inconsistent and rough the final product is.
Like these people unironically got an animation expert to react to their own show (which is already just kind-of bad form) and you can just feel how awkward it is as they try to say nice things about it. It's really not great.
And then there was the other time when they infamously tried to use AI to "fix" existing games, which just resulted in a bunch of dolled-up photorealistic faces that don't match the style of the rest of the cutscene and completely ignore all the artistic intent of the original. I mean, their entire end-result for trying to "fix" alloy was to get rid of all the sunburn and dirt that a real artist intentionally chose to put on the character to sell the idea that she's a real grounded survivalist in a hunter/gatherer society. So big 'oops' on that one!
This entire thing just never feels well thought out or sincere. It just feels like "This AI thing is hot so we should do AI stuff without addressing the big reasons why people don't ACTUALLY want AI Art to be a thing." The fact that they just casually stole art to feed their system on Vampire Hunter D in the first place for the first Anime Rock Paper Scissors episode before making people sign up to their website that they profit off of for the sequel really does feel like it shows just how divorced they are from the actual criticism and problems around this technology.
@@theangryMD You're completely missing the point. People don't have to have their work stolen to be fed to algorythms that replace them with half-baked bullshit.
This crap is always going to be controversial and if you're not going to have the conversation over the potential VERY real negatives and downsides of the technology, then you shouldn't be pushing for its use and acceptance in visual effects.
There's an unironic reason why the second studios started seriously considering using AI for scripts and films we got a massive writer/actor union strike that forced them to come to the table to regulate this stuff. And if nothing changes, the second that technology gets 'good enough' then a lot of hard working and talented people are going to get screwed over because it's simply cheaper to ask Chat GPT to write a script or to use AI to animate a scene than it is to pay real people to make a quality product with intent and meaning behind it.
