I'm thinking about purchasing this camera, currently doing all the research I can on it. If this thing captures HALF as good as what I'm seeing here it's totally worth the $380 USD.
Then go ahead, buy it.You can achieve great results in good light. But be aware of its low light limits.I suggest to sacrifice zoom range of this camera, and buy maybe fz1000 instead. It all depends what is it that you need.
If you notice, most of these videos are taken with the camera on a tripod and the subject is at a fixed distance. I find the auto focus ruins most videos. If you try and walk around and encounter objects and different distances (far then near) the auto focus just doesn't cut it and the jerky movement in the movement of the camera ???? I guess a $300 gimbal might help. All that being said, 4K video on this camera is the only way to get decent video. The other video modes suck. Always seem blurry or soft focus. I'm not trying to be negative about this camera, just stating my experience with using this camera for over a year. All in all I really like my FZ-300 and do recommend it.
Choosing camera cannot be harder.. i been serching over year..i tried the fz80 and now sl3.. thinking of returning and getting this due to price, easiness ... i just need to to take pic in silence but sl3 is like loud.. what do you think.. i plan to shoot videos mostly
Yup,it's great camera for video after some grading in post.Image stabilization is also great.I wouldn't use this camera for stills though. It's a very small sensor,I don't know how Panasonic managed to pull out such a great 4K performance out of it.
So this is the video from the Panasonic Lumix FZ300 with the 4K 24 MP with no post production, asides from color grading in APP? no other post production edits?
I cant recommend this camera for photography because you can take better pictures with smartphones.4k video is OK, usable if U know what U are doing and that range that comes with camera is great. Other than that I cant recommend this camera for anything else.
I'm so sorry for late response.Nikon d750 is a full frame camera and it's 10x better for pictures,ISO is great. Can't shoot 4k though and that's major drawback cause nowadays it's already a standard resolution. Both have terrible autofocus for video - unusable.FZ 300 zoom range is amazing ,but ISO performance is not that good.Great stabilization and acceptable 4k quality ,but only to use it during day when it's good light.
Yes it does but it's not usable for very fast moving subjects. In that regard you need Sony or Canon.Or even Nikon with mirrorless system Z6 or Z7,or even Nikon D780 but thats a lot more expensive gear.
cool!!!!! very nice.,... do you mean max minus... put all contrast, saturation and sharpness as low as possible?... And what do you mean by color graded?
That's right.Go max on the left with these settings. You will get a gray(flat) image, then in software like Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve you grade the footage.Added contrast, saturation, and lut.
@@patricamfilms1392 fz300 has 2.8 20-600 u will have to buy all that for the g7 and built in slow mo on fz300 i now sold my g7 an fz300 i got g85 has built in stabalization

@@workfasts Of course the color and sharpness have been adjusted. At those settings that I've recorded you get a flat, grey washed out picture, with sharpness low as possible then color graded and added sharpness.
This looks absolutely awesome. Expensive gear is not everything.
Jeez, what the heck did Panasonic do to make a camera this good and yet way more affordable than a DSLR?
Thank you for this was my final bit of motivation to buy the camera :)
You're welcome!
I've been looking up so much, I think I'm just gonna go ahead with this one too
Fantastic job! Looks quite professional!
I just got one & can't wait to see what this little beast can do. Great video!

25fps 4k or 30 ? 1080p 60 or 50 ? Many versions of internet
Depends on region. PAL has 25fps, NTSC has 30fps. There is hack available, to switch to NTSC 30fps 4k on fz300.
Well done! Looks real movie shot with $400 camera.
$300 if you get it used! These are sturdy cameras
Good video just making sure this the perfect budget camera

NOT BAD! I will definitely get one of these soon! Good job with the cinematic test video.
Hey there what a nice video! May I ask if you use an ND Filter here and which size it has? 😊 thanks a lot for your help!
Thanks.No ND filter was used.
I'm saving up for this camera, will be a nice upgrade to my cheap Canon PowerShot Elph 180

Avoid this camera for professional photos. If U are going to use it for video,it's bargain because of price,"reach",4K.

No issues at all.
Types of settings and bitrate?
