  • (13 Jun 1976) A 5-man crew set out from the coast of Ireland to row the Atlantic in a boat made from ox-hide on a frame of oak and ash. Their aim, by achieving this feat, is to prove that an Irish monk, named St. Brendan, discovered America 900 years before Columbus.

      Brendan creek , in the north dingle, Co KERRY . on the west of the mount Brendan and of course at the west of Brendon port. Kenavo da Brittany;
