- Deepika Padukone is known to be a guarded, private individual but when we got her for an EXCLUSIVE chat only on Bollywood Bubble with host Nayandeep Rakshit, it possibly turned out to be her most candid interview till date. With her latest film Gehraiyaan ready to release in three days from now, Deepika takes the opportunity to reflect back on her past experiences, relationships, dealing with infidelity and other deal breakers in relationships. She expresses how her idea of love and relationship has changed or rather evolved over time and how she's fought to embrace her own vulnerabilities. While she is the Queen of Bollywood today, DP shares she still battles self doubt amd confidence issues on a daily basis and expresses the urge to not fight it but accept it. Apart from that, ever since the Gehraiyaan promotions began, Deepika has been at the other end of several sexist comments - while some asked if Ranveer Singh was okay with her kisses on screen, an influencer also tried to shame her for the neckline and hemline of her dresses. Yes, definitely! Honestly from his previous posts also it looks like he has a dislike towards Deepika, which is fair, you're allowed to dislike people but he really did cross the line with that post. It was deeply sexist, a decent man wouldn't make such a comment, even towards women he is not particularly fond of.
Infidelity is definitely a deal breaker in a relationship. No matter how much one has evolved or number of years married. Trust is the foundation.
wrong Trust can never be foundation, one always has to show effort to earn trust. One can't blindly trust anyone. To earn trust one has to show constant work, commitment, honesty, communication and so on. Trust is important but it is earned through actions.
She clearly said that she doesn't say that its okay, but that as you evolve you don't see things in black and white. you understand the greys that allow you to understand the situation that allow us to deal with it better.

She couldn't give a clear cut answer as to whether or not she is against infidelity. She couldn't say that she is against it because of her film. She cannot say she is not against it because the whole world saw what Ranbir did to her. She kept beating around the bush to not give a proper answer.
The film was very clear that infidelity has bad repercussions. It wasn't something that promoted infidelity at all.

Gehraaiyaan title song is my ringtone since the time they released first teaser. I was constantly watching that teaser every hour. I have to take credit for more views on that. I immediately downloaded video. I converted video into audio in google. I started listening back to back. I was like this is so close to my heart n made it my ringtone.

I am very excited about this movie but in each one of interviews she keeps saying things in a manner to promote this movie, as seen in the trailer how her character gets involved in cheating her partner! If you really hear her out, you will know that trust and infidelity don't necessarily stand on opposite ends. I always hated the movie Kabhi Alvida na Kehna, then I grew up. Forgiveness is so much easier then we make it out to be and trust is so much more complex than you lie to me, we're done; you cheated, you're done.

I think having grown and having grown into a relationship, sometimes you begin to understand and value a person with his/her strengths and weaknesses. I always felt that things were either black or white. Trust is similar to all other emotions in its complexity, and when you really know someone, you can learn to trust them even though they have strayed in a moment of weakness.

For all those who blaming here for her comment on infidelity . Let me ask a question. One scenario - A person in a very lovable relationship who respects the partner, consider the partner as equal in every sense, but one day had too much drinks/ drugs or whatever and slept with someone unknowingly. But next day that person realised come clean with the partner. Another scenario - A person who never cheats, but consider partner as property, no respect for them, expects them to do every work and take it for granted . In both cases which scenario is easy to forgive? Both cases are very difficult. But our society teaches us 1st is a deal breaker and second is acceptable . But here i will tell you in 1st scenario if thespouse accepts the mistake and never does it, it is fine to move forward, But second case is worse because they wont even understand the problem . I am not trying to justify the cheating or something. But what i am trying to say nothing is black and white. Thats is why it is said communication matters
There can be a third senerio just don't fuck up any thing be loyal be in your senses. Never do any of the two cases.
