- Deepika Padukone returns to celluloid after two years with Meghana Gulzar's Chhapaak, which revolves around the life story of Laxmi Aggarwal, an acid attack survivor who never lost hope, even after the vicious incident. When we caught up with the actress, she gets up close and personal about playing such a nuanced character, why she chose Chhapaak despite wanting to do a light romantic film, and how she could connect with the character. Not just that, she also opened up about battling depression and still trying to come to terms with it and reacted to media reports of Ranveer Singh's investment in her production house. Apart from this, she also revealed how married life is treating DeepVeer and how they try to balance their differences out. Watch the video to find out.

A movie On their on love story
Simple real clean movies
Crime thriller movie

Frankly speaking when Deepika spoke about her depression back in time, I didn't understand her completely. I experienced the same and now I feel her completely. But she is a Gem for sharing what she has been through mentally to the public, that's where we can easily judge her inside beauty, that's how her parents raised her. Lots of love Deepika ! I wish you the success in everything you do.
One of the many reasons why I respect Deepika so much is because of her transparency surrounding her depression; it’s not easy, especially in Indian culture to speak up on such a huge public platform like Bollywood about mental health. Deepika: THANK YOU for what you do ❤️

The Host is one of the best I've ever come across in recent times. He is sensible and dignified and intelligent, no nonsense, not trying to create content that is not there , not indulging too personally , saying the right things , asking the right questions in a very matured way. There's deepika in the frame but , he gets noticed more says alot about his talent. ❤❤❤ Bless him . Hope we see more of such hosts in the media and not the gossipy chirps !

I need to say this for the interviewer, I've been noticing the actors like genuinely thanking him for a lovely interview. You can make out when an actor just says thank you for lip service and when they actually mean it. For Nayandeep, every actor that comes on this show, feels really positive and comfortable being around him

It's so great to see people breaking the stigma about mental health and I would really love Deepika to make a movie about it. At the same time having your face permanently disfigured by acid is not the same as being depressed. The former being much worse.
