I think I should share my personal experience.
1. I currently own Tiago AMT for 4 yrs.
2.Still no issue in AMT gearbox after 30k running.
3. No issue in driving on hill
4.Yes, there are Noticeable jerks in AMT but those are felt when you are shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Then for 3rd its very less whereas for 4th and 5th its not felt. All this if you are driving sedately.
5. Considering AT cars prices nowadays its better to go for AMT. Save some money and spend it on fuel and maintenance.
6. Just to eliminate some gearbox jerks spending 2 to 3 lakh more is not a wise decision.

Nexon petrol hilly area me 2nd gear se upar nahi chala sakte hai aur bhi sports me laga k..😢 turbo lag.. sharing personal experience

Wife has a baleno amt,i drive a city cvt,dad loves his celerio cng .over taking especially in hills and where you want to get a sudden throttle is pathetic in both cvt.and amt,manual zindabaad 😂.in the end its a personal choice.

Previously I was owning a maruti Ignis Amt 1.2 Petrol. It was giving a good average of 18-19 in city and highway around 20. As it was our first car we learn all driving in that car. It was also there with our family.
We just upgraded to nexon diesel amt.
it was too giving 19 in city average.
The main benefits that it had some certain range in which it pulls and we are used to it.
I never drove a cvt, dcg or dct so we love to drive amt.

Aspire is all value for money if the condition is good with maximum time left, else ecosport makes sense if you wanna keep the vehicle.
Reason for not suggesting brezza and scross is that 90hp engine which becomes troublesome with time.

@@johnorton4418 that won’t be a good choice for now as that’s a not so common multijet engine by fiat, comes with a VGT. I won’t recommend to go with it as you might face engine parts issue as well if needed.
