Another night of being griefed by some weirdos! Spawned in beside my girl friend and she was being tied up with dynamite thrown at her and her horse. They then tied me up and shot me in the head, called in all of their mates and griefed us for a solid 20 mins til we left the lobby. A group of GROWN MEN, griefing 2 GIRLS. So sad.

supercomputer2004 Yeah, anybody can. Auto aim is EZ. Can’t stand using it myself. Hate the idea of a game holding your hand that much.
@@gregorybarker8835 I have actually gotten oddly good with it. To the point I can usually get 22 kills in a match. Most I've gotten ever was 40.

I hate the defense playstyle simply because it makes you see through, I want people to be able to see my character that I spent so much time on

So I've been doing defensive free aiming for a few days now, it is so good and fun to use, you get soooo many people raging at you for being on defensive mode 😂😂

You can do both. But press charges first. I never bother with that any ways. It just gives them a hostility penalty and a worthless amount of bounty.I try to press my bullets on them instead. 😇😇😇

If you are not in defensive mode and a player shoots you down, when you revive can you then enter defensive mode while they are red to you?
Drake Gendzier yes you can enable it at that point
And another tip is to grief them, make them really angry & Tilted as they were going to do to you (and have done to many many others), kill them few times (try 0 deaths) (semi auto with incendiary is often the best choice) then go to the nearest fast travel/stranger mission (they can't kill you there you’re immune to bullets) and use some laughing emots, they'll get tilted af , but only do that if you feel the person is really a try hard, because sometimes there are some fortnite kids who don’t even know what to do and just start shooting ppl. (In that case i just kill them like 3 times and go away).
Anyway i've done that so many times to so many try hards, been cursed via microphone, been sent tilted msgs and a lot more, and it really is a satisfying feeling, it what makes me not stop playing the game, sometimes i feel like i'm the griefer but i always try to be fair.
Me and my boy got jumped by 4 people later on he called his friends to get online and we slaughtered there ass 7 vs 4 lol
then you have been fighting noobs because people can kill you in a shop, at a fast travel spot, next to a stranger mission, in your camp and so on ;)
Was on hour ago to do dailys Griefers trying to spoil my game so killed them till they left session does that make me a Griefer hope not lol
No because you were only defending yourself I love when you chase them off the session because you refuse to give up i had some the other day well over an hour I was fighting them because I refuse to back down they eventually realised I wasn't given up so parleyed then left the session 😂😂😂

I always give people the benefit of the doubt if they shoot me once because I know accidents happen i dropped my controller once and shot someone but if someone keeps shooting then they will be getting it

Edit: once I am done with Story Mode I will Play Online and duel everyone using no aim assist.

You really do come across some right doughnuts in this game.
The amount of high level players who couldn't hit a barn door without auto aim truly beggars belief. I have come across loads of high level players who use Paint It Black. For me it is a cheat card. I just keep my distance and pop them with either the Carcano or the Rolling Block.
I really don't understand the developer, Rockstar.
I simply want to play pve, pvp is not well implemented and even if where- i would not play it.
Why do I have to share the server with random idiots? Why aren't there official invite only lobbies?
It seems I have to use the "methods" to get a temporary solo lobby

Hey... Literally after watching your video and following I had trouble with griefers.. 2 in fact who just jumped me as I was collecting coins for madame nazar.. But fortunately for me after watching your vid I followed your steps and changed my settings to defensive.. Tweaked my ability cards and maxed them.. And crafted as many lvl2 tonics as I could at my camp.. I was ready for these swines this time and as much as they circled me they couldn't target me as I kept picking them off at close range with a shotgun to the face... Good Times.. I absolutely suck at aiming, I get so fed up when somebody kills me for sh.. and giggles. I push that accuse button and try to kill them once in retaliation. The only thing which helps me is to do a fast travel. I will try these tips and I definitely have to improve my shooting skills and free aim since I am getting griefed once a session every time I play. I treally starts spoiling my fun. I have to check if i am in defensive mode. I really like that even if I don't get my revenge someone will for me if he grieves the wrong one. Thank you for that.

Defensive does little to fix the problem. It needs to be that you take no damage. Either that or they need separate servers for playstyles. As a level 4 newbie I can't even enter a town to speak to an npc of my first quest without getting killed. Truly pathetic.
The griefing wouldn't be that bad if R* would put huge threat level on a person who shoots a defensive player. The threat level would make law enforcement in towns attack them and venders except for fences not do business with them. Make it the only way to get rid of their threat level would be to have PC bounty hunters capture and turn them in.
I think they forget back-shooting and firing on others that are not being aggressive was frowned on in the old west and earned you a rope necktie on the first offense. I say let them grief but show them their life will be tough if they do and they'll always be on the run just like they would be in the old west.

I like using defensive, fm1, iron lungs, of single purpose, slow and steady and tier III health cures. Just something about watching a group of 7 waste incendiary and explosive rounds is a lot of fun.
Hey man, I just wanted to say thank you for the tips, I’ve bean getting griefers lately and you have gave me the tips to get rid of them, I had to kill 7 griefers and took each and every one down. I had to leave one though but another one came in and took him down as well! You just earn a sub pall👍👍
Nice guide. I got lucky the other day when my friends and I were attacked and managed to paint 5 members of a posse and kill them all with headshots, they did not bother us after that. I will still stick with offensive mode, but will try to train in defensive mode.
The only way to win is just to leave. They feed off your anger and will of revenge.

Got attacked yesterday with 2 griefers but they gave up after i spawn killed them with my Pumpy! HAIL TO FREE AIM PLAYERS!

I'm a new subscriber but a longtime fan. I'm sick of Griefers always interrupting my defensive mode sessions. I am at a disadvantage as I play with PC controls and Dead Eye doesn't work for me. I have been doing pretty well with a long scope and improved rolling block rifle. I have only started playing online in the last month and I am only level 26 but play solo as I find it hard to trust anyone and I don't have a mic to communicate, just emotes. My ID is Locutus0612 and my player name is Phoenix Rising and I play during Australian AEDT hours. If only I could hire SlyRecon as a bodyguard to keep the Griefers off my back I might be able to achieve a lot more. Btw I have NEVER killed a player who has not first attacked me or began hostilities. I always wave at players and leave them in peace.

In order to beat your enemy you must know your enemy. And I will try these tactics. I feel horrible attacking random people so ill go around and hope for some greifers. I would love to fight you someday, in a fiendly way.

You actually can be lassoed in defensive. I was lassoed out of my camp by a griefer. He also blew up my moonshine wagon and proceeded to harass me for a long time before I had enough and just quit out the game and got into a new session because even after blocking them they kept joining in on me somehow.

I got a Rolling Block Rifle w/ Express Ammo, I'll be able to take some of those griefers down if I get a Headshot.
I have all the ammo for the rolling block but i aint use explosive ammo till i get salty from griefers 😂😂
@@therealarthurmorgan3777 same!! My explosive and incendiary ammo is reserved for griefers!! Made one leave the lobby last night because I blew him up after he tried to kill me while fishing and then I just sat there outside of the store he was hiding in.
Stick with body shots. 90% of the time you will only need a body shot to kill people unless they have slow and steady plus an elixir running.

Will try some of these. Got on rdr2 online because I've read a lot about the awesome community but my in game experience has been depressing.
Mainly a solo player, don't have friends playing this. Difficult grind to afford the trader license and medium wagon.
I keep getting griefed (not sure if repeated intercepted delivery counts) and it's real heartbreaking. The time spent on buck hunting to fill up the gauge for 1 delivery only to get picked off by groups of high leveled players (seriously, I'm a non hostile defensive level 22 player minding my own business getting owned by level 100-200s). It's just a measly $200 to them but it's a lot to me starting out. 😪

Okay so my friend and I were on our way to camp. Some dude rode by and started to shoot at us. So we bolted to camp.
They couldn't attack us at camp, so he got on MY horse, ran off with it and proceeded to shoot at it. I killed both of his horses after he killed mine.
Second, this dude kept chasing me through New Austin to West Elisabeth. He had a mic and kept asking, "Where you going sweetheart?"

Thank you so very much for this video. I played this game and fell in love with the concept. I never really wanted to be an outlaw. I was more interested in other parts of the west and the beauty of it. Griefers ruin every part of it for me. I almost stopped playing. Being more of a PVE instead of PVP player.
Not to mention I get no fun in hurting others, actually, it does the reverse for me. It breaks my hurt to see people suffer breaks it, even more, knowing someone could enjoy others pain. I feel fortunate to find another kind soul and this video has saved the game for me again.
I have never used defensive and probably never will when a person randomly shoots me it normally a low lvl so I shoot them as a sort of warning shot if they carry on then I just kill them about 5 times

This is why we won't purchase play for the game online.
As a software engineer, I know that they could easily make a patch that allows you to go int he options menu and turn off PVP mode - just as how is done on DC Universe online. It would probably take about a month. But instead they don't give that option in DR Online and it makes the game totally unfun.

He left in the end. May I ask - what type of scope do you put on your Carcano? Is it a medium length scope? Thanks once again!

The double barrel shotgun works very well against piece of craps that just won't leave you alone me and my team came up on some guys who just want to start trouble we all switch to our shotguns and let them have it they finally stopped and parlayed cuz we was handing them there butts everytime they responded and left us alone we went on about our business of hunting
Story
So I accidentally hit some other player's horse whilst trying to down a lawman, and this person just decides to ignore the fact I went to revive the horse and pops me in the head. I spawn back in and kill this guy, but then get gunned down by a level 200 and his posse members. So now it's a 4 v 1 (soon to be five), I proceed to kill two and down the one, and I get killed by a level 11 and a fire arrow. (Note I am level 130 and dont usually fight with players). So the prepubescent Posse leader invites me to a party where all five of these 8 to 12 year old kids call me dogwater and a greifer, i just sat there and laughed at their stupidity and cracked a few insults back at them before leaving the session to actually have some fun. Yea that's my story of how I met some toxic kids who need a posse to win against someone.
Me: learns how to kick griefers ass in defensive mode
Griefers: somehow the posee leader was no attacking so he managed to go on defensive mode too with all the posee members and all of them are good at free aim

When I started playing online, I was automatically put in offensive so I was like “WOW AIMING IS SO EASY!” Then when I discovered defensive and it is currently my default, I was thinking the whole time, “Wow my aim has gotten horrible even with aim assist.” I never clued in that it was turned off for that. Well the bonus is I got a lot better at free aim!

For me it doesnt really matter which Deadzone you choose. Oh and thanks for the tip to don't have the same settings for first and third, you are Right first person sometimes is faster and different

This griefer shot me on my horse, I messaged him whats your problem, then I got killed over and over again. I then cussed him out for killing me trying to escape the premise, he kept on killing me and i was also banned from xbox communication

Having a large posse vs 1 or 2 also makes the game unfair. I've seen it happen on Mixer streams, where the large posse even has "griefers" as part of their name attacking 1 guy over and over and over.
The explosive cartridges almost completely evens out a griefer posse of 3 or 4 people too.
They don't like it, but that's what they get for being griefers.
captainhansen100 right up until 6 of them show up all using health builds. I never understand the kick they get out of being completely overpowered. I prefer to improve upon my skills and learn from my mistakes by playing at a lower or even level as them
