It’s a shame that like literally every other reload animation in this game that isn’t for a stock weapon is either extremely poorly animated or lacking attention to detail, like the Luger inspection animation where the magazine doesn’t even come out.

The Scout's weapon animations across the board are just iconic; the reload animations are so satisfying. The design of every shotgun too is just phenomenal - visually brilliant, especially in the context of roaming around the map and firing.

I remember from a comment on the classic TF2 trailers from before the game went F2P that you could go into the command console and disable “phong” or something like that to exaggerate the shadows and make the game look even more cartoony. In case if the vagueness isn’t a big enough clue, I only vaguely remember this, but I also recall taking a screenshot of the comment for safekeeping.
i just wish the lugermorph actually had animations like an actual luger pistol. Like when it fired the top hammer that you pull to cock it actually went up and down when i fires like a luger in real life. other than that i really like the lugermorph

That’s because, for whatever reason, the front end is thicker than the back end on an almost similar ratio to a wine bottle. Why ValvE did this, I have zero clue.
Just because it’s a shooter game doesn’t mean it have to have an assault rifle. Like “Pootzeketi123” says, it would fuck up the balancing, too. As if ValvE knows what balancing is anymore. Or ever did.
But no, because the plasma pistol was on a match trigger with a hell of a lot more shots and ran the risk of overheating if you spammed the frick out of it or used the charged shot. This, however, just vaguely resembles a prop from a movie set of the time period the game takes place in.
