I resolved to listen to them, starting with #1, in order to better understand meditation, types of practice, and how it could benefit my pretty troubled life. I'm excited!

    He became a way to those who had gone astray and knowledge for those who were without knowledge, discovery for those who were seeking and strength for those who were trembling, purity for those who were defiled. Since it is Jesus Christ who is the shepherd who left behind the 99 who had not gone astray and came and searched for the 1 that had gone astray. He rejoiced when he found it for 99 is a number expressed with a gesture of the "left hand".(judgment of the Law/Karma) But when 1 is found, the sum total transfers to the right hand. (Mercy) in this way the thing that is in need of 1, namely the whole right hand, draws what is missing, and takes it from the left hand part so that it transfers to the right hand. And thus the number becomes 100. This is a symbol of the spoken forms of these numbers. The Father is he who, even on the Sabbath, when the sheep that he had found had fallen into the ditch, labored over it and kept the sheep alive, once he had brought it up from the ditch("broke" the law to obey the Holy Spirit)
    In the Spirit, there is freedom. You have the choice to bind yourself to the covenant of the minutiae of the law or fulfill the law by accepting the new covenant of the Holy Spirit by loving God with all your heart, mind and soul and loving your neighbor as yourself

    Jesus Christ, God the Son, is the answer to your problems. Jesus is victorious over sin, sickness, depression, fear, hate, addictions and even death & Satan. You receive the victory when you put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ! There is power in the blood of Jesus Christ!
    💗PRAY this with a sincere & humble heart:
    Jesus, I come to you a sinner in need of your forgivess. I believe you are the Son of God. I believe that you went to the cross, died in my place, paying my sin debt. That you were buried and rose on the 3rd day to everlasting life. Jesus, right now I choose to receive you as my Savior. I trust in you alone for my salvation. Thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you for the gift of eternal life in Heaven. Teach me, guide me & use me for your glory. Amen.

      Yes he did.
      In a time and place where it was considered socially acceptable. When he was enthroned he enacted reforms and dismissed his slaves. Further, after leaving Tibet and coming face to face with new ideas and concepts he changed his ways. We judge willingness to change more than we judge a figurehead before enthronement.

      Ok so you don't actually know anything about Buddhism then.
      This is what the Buddha has said:
      'Salvation doesn't come from the sight of me. It demands strenuous effort and practice. So work hard and seek your own salvation constantly.'
      I advise that in the future, before formulating a criticism, at least pretend to know what you are talking about.

  • @wendyfurr6650
    @wendyfurr6650 6 років тому

    Jesus said:" come to me. My lordship is mild." How many lifetimes of meditation and how many offerings to idols will it take to purge you of your negative karma? I'm open to aspects of Buddhist practice but came to recognize that salvation is a free gift from a loving creator. In my heart I knew forgiveness of my negative karma to be true, if I'm willing to forgive at least. I have no disrespect to any one who aims for enlightenment but would like to encourage anyone who is reading this to consider that God has made an atonement for your negative karma already because otherwise you might have never been freed from Samsara. The Law is a harsh judge but mercy is infinite. Love is stronger than death even. With God all things are possible. At least consider this possibility if you have an open mind :) Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to all men. :) God have mercy on you all in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
