This dvd was the sole and inspiring reason to want to go to Disney World. As a kid, I begged my parents to take me because I liked so many things in this video! Life circumstances happened though, making it impossible for it to happen. I am writing this today, at my hotel room in Orlando, leaving for Magic Kingdom in an hour. Dreams really do come true.

I'm glad to see so many of us ended up watching this over and over again when we were younger. This was my family's first big vacation, so it was a huge deal for us. As a kid, I loved Luke. Now, I relate so much more to Dave. All the bench addictions still crack me up.

i love this dvd man. my fam and i had never been to disney world before, i think i was 8 at the time and this was when time felt like forever, but in that childlike wonderful way ya know what i mean.. regardless my sister and i watched this like every day just like psyched as hell to go. i literally remember the drive to the airport the day it finally happened, gloomy weather (my favorite weather idk) and idk i'll never forget it. as i type this comment that skater dude named luke with the long hair just popped up and he is who i remember most off this dvd. i think there's a part where he talks about the twilight zone tower of terror and he's like "make sure to eat AFTER the ride.. NOT before.." and for some reason that exact moment has stayed in the caverns of my brain since i was a kid. this comment is really long and non-sensical and i do apologize for that, idk man i just think it's cool to find beauty in the weird little knick-knacks of life like a disney tour dvd you could easily misplace in a goodwill bin (no disrespect but y'all know what i mean) and i think it's cool that others share in that sentiment. i really didn't think i'd find this on youtube but multiple people uploaded this whole dvd and i just think that's so cool. every breath in this lifetime is the most marvelous gift.
This is a very close second to my favorite Vacation planning dvd of the year 2009. "What are you celebrating" dvd. Love the personalities in this one though. So good. :)

The 2009 dvd is pure awesome sauce. I mean it captures all the magic and fun. There's somethign about the newer ones...that seems a bit...'rushed' to me. Like they just want to give you the bare minimum. The 2005 and 2009 ones give you so much more than just the rush job. Haven't seen the 2002 one. Gonna have to see if I can look it up. I have the 2005 one. Along with the 2009-20016 ones. 2009 and 2005 being my faves.

Did anyone who went to disney around this time used to get the specialized pirate or treasure park maps? Park maps that kind of looked like pirate or treasure maps instead? I remember them and they made me so happy
It's crazy how this was made 17 years ago! It's also pretty crazy to see how different Disney World is now and all the changes. For example, Disney Springs was still named Downtown Disney and Soarin and Expedition Everest weren't even open yet...

I wish DL's 60th Anniversary is celebrated at all the parks, just like 10 years ago. Hopefully WDW's 50th Anniversary will only be celebrated at WDW as punishment.

This was the free vacation planning DVD that Disney sent out back in 2005/2006. I think your best bet would be searching on eBay, or ripping from UA-cam and making your own DVD. Or get a Roku and play UA-cam on your TV :)
