AAU has become way too fanatical. Parents push their kids into the AAU teams and tournaments thinking they’ll be on their way to a professional career.
One of the few times I agree with Stephen A. Doesn't matter if you spend $1 or $1000s. You still gotta follow the rules. The ref doesn't have to explain anything to you. Calm down, n maybe he will. If you wanna complain, I'm sure there are RULES you gotta follow to do so.

@jean-patricepaluku4754 yes I have actually. And we were told at league meeting we don't owe any explainable whatsoever to coaches parent whomever. If we choose to we can. It isn't required. Now I understand every league is different but by the video he was hostile n in pretty dam sure no ref would go over n explain anything to him acting that way. Especially if he got ejected
@@broncoramfan If that's true, then there's a problem with whatever league you're in. Refs are NOT GODS. Maybe not parents, but any coach of a team playing in that league is warranted an explanation when desired. If the explanation is "I have no explanation", fine, but ignoring the coach is unwarranted. If the coach continues to press the issue, throw him/her out. That being said, if that is your answer, said coach has a right to appeal to the league leaders on why the ref had no explanation. Coaches and refs are doing jobs; one job is not superior to the other.

I was at that tournament this weekend, so good refs but some AWFUL ones and I mean the worst I have seen ( been coaching AAU for 10 years and played from Cali to Florida) . I don’t even like Perk as an espn analyst but he is 100% right on this. I spend thousands on this Vegas tournament and it was poorly run all the way down to some games only have one ref ( who thought he knew MUCH more than he actually did) .
Nothing worse as a ref than doing a game solo, especially AAU! Been there done that. Horrible situation for the official
