When i was a boy there was an old retired policeman who lived next door. He had a zulu cain on his mantelpiece that was brought back from Africa by his father or grandfather. He told me he used to carry it when on night duty in the rough area of Liverpool. This was about 1975 he would have been mid 70's my best guess this would have been 1920's. He used to take it down and show me it. I remember it being a very dark wood almost black with a large ball type end that was probably the business end. He used to say if this stick coukd talk it could tell you some stories, got me out of trouble many a time. Proper gentleman would stand ramrod straight with very short snow white hair. Thank you brought back a memory i hadn't thought about in years.
Love the videos, love the video that features a poison ring at the end, very impressive, love the cane videos and the petrol and diesel preservation video aswell informative videos 🙂
The first one reminds of catholic school, those nuns were ruthless, lol, Have a nice old chinese sword cane, made for tong wars, even know the owner name Also have a knobkerrie from Isandlawana,it's not wrapped like yours, Brilliant collection sir.am very jealous
Hello. Very interesting. I am looking for two modern canes. A heavy duty sword cane that will stand up to actual use, (I practice kendo). The zaitoichi is far to oobvious to carry. And a multi weapon model I once saw in Europe. Any suggestions? Thanks. Liked.
All this is fine and good, scary stuff, but the one that scares me the most is Lucius Malfoys cane, with the snakes head, because it isn't a dagger. Inside the cane is a piece of wood! A rod about 10" long and if he points it at you and says "Abracadabra" you instantly die! They're called "wands" and nobody ever thinks about "wand control" or "wand free zones". Go figure.
The only won one there that might have been scary, is probably that dagger came.the others are just decorative walking sticks that could make good skull thumpers
Hello chap my grandfather has one of these canes you twist a engraved band of metal to open it and once you pull the handle from the cane it's a fully engraved blade with a fuller all the way down the blade. The handle is ivory or bone and the sheath the bottom part of the cane is a very very dark material I am not sure if it's some type of wood or dyed bone it's a very strange to look at. Any ideas of its origins maybe I can email you some pictures? It is a full length cane more of a walking stick
I love these I got on from my great grampa with a flask in it and now I need one Ib the winter for my vad leg and always dreamed of one to actualy use wich I know is frowned upon but u only live once
The Zulu cane is a piece of art. Who wouldn't want that in their collection?
At first I thought those skulls were human molar teeth, which actually would have been creepier.
Is it?
That Headmaster's Cane gave me some scary school flashbacks
"I'll be good sir!"😜
NEW BOY!
Why did you stop making these videos? Please make more gadget cane videos, they are great.
This speaker is perfect for this sort of thing. I'm really enjoying this.

Ummm... Dante? Dante Alighieri? He was not a priest, but a poet; and he lived in the 13th-14th century: he wrote _The Divine Comedy_ .

this is so cool. I am a beginner, up to 23 canes now.
You could make a youtube channel about them.
I have somewhere in the range of 40...most of them are very basic wooden ones tho and some fancy ones.
Aliester Crowley is still alive I swear.
