- In 1995-96, to commemorate 50 years of the Declaration of Independence made by the Provisional Government of Azad Hind, Akhil Bakshi organised and led the Azad Hind Expedition from Singapore, where the Indian National Army (INA) was formed, to the Red Fort in Delhi, which was their goal.
the purpose of the expedition was to refresh the national memory with the sacrifices made by the soldiers of the INA and to remind the youth about their national responsibilities.
Entering Nagaland from Manipur, the expedition was received in Viswema village by the Respected Vizol Koso, the fourth chief minister of Nagaland and a revered leader.
This is raw, unedited footage of the warm occasion in January 1996.

After all this year's my grandfather/ AMU (Mr. Daniel Kikhi) given the privilege to speak as to what Viswemi Angami Naga had secrifised for the freedom of the great INDIA in the strangle against the British imperialism along with Subas Chandra Bose is now unfolded. The untold stories should be thoroughly acknowledge. Nagas in particular has suffered beyond until today period. High time medals 🏅🏅 be awarded.
