How to clear an air bag fault code on a vw/audi using vagcom
Select control module#15 Airbag
Select option #2 clear fault
If fault does not clear. Check airbag connections under seat and retry Fault Clear Command
If fault still doesn't clear, Select control module#15 Airbag
Select Adaptions, drop down item "learned values"
Enter code provided by VCDS, "2905", test and save.
Go back, Select Options #2 clear fault
Fault should be cleared

Need your help : trying to retrofit airbag off switch... It seems to detect it in VCDS (shows it as on or off if I turn the switch) but MIL is on and when I go to adaptation my switch is set aas not parametrized.. when I select switch is installed from the droplist and click Do it ! It accepts the coding BUT the value gets back to not parametrized.....

So basically install new airbags and then do this. It won't go off when plugged in with breaker fused replace right?. Also do I need to do anything with crash sensors?. Cheers in advanced

The wire that goes to the tailgate switch…which wire on the switch? My switch had one ground, one positive, and one I don’t know.

Im asking becouse my airbag light on my Audi A4 1.8t -00. I have replaced the seat to some sport seat without airbag. Or should i only get some relay for it

These instructions are for a reset. If the airbag module is removed the airbag can't be reset.

I can't access this module, it ask me to turn ignition off then switch it back on when prompted, which I did, and still I get a "no response from the module". I have no airbags problem, I just want to disable passenger side airbags from VCDS because one can't do it manually on Polo 6N2.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

My Friend replaced the front airbags after the accident, the airbag lamp is still shining on the cluster. Is it possible to restart the central computer for the airbag using VCDS

VCDS can reset your airbag fault. I recommend running a diagnosis scan first.
