Another model elevated beyond the parts that emerge from the box. Superb work.
I'm 74 and my hands and joints aren't what they use to be , but I love watching you work . Cheers Mate and all the best.
As the previous owner of an 1989 GSXR750R, of which much of its design can be traced back to this Yoshimura Suzuka 8 Hour endurance racer, you nailed it! Besides the obvious attention to detail like drilling the brake rotors and chain to better show its links, I thought the dry clutch looked great as well as the red and blue anodized oil cooler line fittings. If I had to critique one thing it would be the titanium exhaust discoloration. I would have went heavier on the bluing and added some dark golden brown rings to enhance the joint welds. But who the hell am I? You are the master and I am the lowly subscriber. FRIGGIN AWESOME BUILD! 😎👍🏻
Thanks and I envy you. :-D These machines are perfect. I did not have a much documentation for this motorcycle, so I made a lot of mistakes.
@@idaemonplasmo Great idea on the rotors to show wear, You can use a similar effect on tires to show wear too, or if you go really overboard a race track tire effect lol. Also a little bit of black weather element in powder form around the calipers to simulate brake pad dust really gives it that "put away dirty look"
this channel is amazing. You show all the steps a modeller has to take to get a good end product. I appreciate you recording every tedious process and beautiful video production.
All of your works are just miracles. Your videos took my whole day today. I became a big fan of yours.
David, your work is nothing short of amazing. I have been building static and flying models for more than 50 years. Some people such as yourself have a gift of artistry that people such as myself strive to attain.
I very much enjoy your videos, on many levels. When I need to relax and enjoy something beautiful being created, your channel is where I go first.
Thank you for your continued assistance in keeping this wonderful hobby alive. ✌
These are the best modelling videos on UA-cam. Fact.
For never having done a bike, you really nailed it for the most part. I don’t catch if you were not into bikes or that you just had never built one. One thing I do differently is on the brake rotor, after shooting it with whatever “silver” you use, then shoot it with matte coat. Then mask off the inner part of the disc where the brake pads don’t touch, and reshoot it with a very light dusting of black. Sand lightly with whatever grit you used on the body work using the same Dremel method you used to groove the brakes, just to knock a little black off the top while leaving it down in the grooves. While it is still masked off, apply several coats of gloss so the area the brake pads touch is polished, this leaves the inner “raw” area of the brake rotor with a matte finish which simulates the machined surface. I’ll send you a pic of Valentino Rossi’s rookie bike that I used that technique on if I can find an email for you.
Excellent as usual! The tip of the metal color on the tap of the alclad II bottle is pure gold! Thanks!
Every time I look for videos to see while having lunch/dinner, I end up watching one of yours. You're a really really talented person. I enjoy each one of your videos.
for your first time building a motorcycle, it looks fantastic, and it was great taking the viewer through the build process, keep up the great work David
Dude, in my opinion - you're on top of world class modellers. The best of the best. Your movies are so relaxing to watch. Greetings from Poland.
From all the model builders on YT, your videos is absolutely is most pleasing to watch from start to finish without skipping. Great camera technique. Congrats on 500k subs!!
I think you are a really good modeller. But you are a truly exceptional videographer - this stuff is of the very highest quality. Your big depth of field, lighting, sets and editing are superb. I know how unforgiving close-up photography is - but this just looks great. I don't know if you have chosen a career yet, but I think it should be with a camera.
Spot on. The formatting is excellent. The backward segment of constructing the bike was great.
Thanks a lot. I spend a lot of time with every video, so I am glad if you like it.
Man. This was your first motorcycle model and you built it as if it was your 100th.
thisnicklldo I fully agree! This is stunningly easy to watch, informative and fun all at the same time!
Not to mention I love motorcycles and am looking for modeling tips!
@@cghera PLASMO takes any model to the next level
your attention to detail is why you are the best on youtube.
Wow. The detail you put into your work is nothing short of stunning. Well done.
Wow! you drilled holes in the brake disks and chains. Very impressive for your first bike! Please do more!
I love watching model makers make movie props but this is another level above. Great job.
Wow! You are a master modeler! My uncle did models when I was younger and he did amazing work but this is another level of perfection.......I clicked the video by mistake cause I really thought it was a super bike build but I couldn't stop watching? Seriously you have an amazing talent an level of skill I have never seen and I thank you.
Usually I just skim through a model video build, but I watched the whole darn thing. Like the style and videography you use and some gorgeous modelling to boot. I had no problem understanding your English and remember you were working on that. Top notch work all around
Just simply stunning once again. To do this model justice is still well beyond my abilities, which I learned by watching your artistry. I’ll keep working on military models until I can achieve a small fraction of your skill level, then I’ll give this one a go. I can’t thank you enough for these videos. I learn a new technique/trick virtually every single time. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks.
Thank you for attempting this. The results are testament to your knowledge and patience. Great job.
The level of detail is astonishing. Going to be trying my first bike model very soon. If I can get half the quality of this, I'd be happy.
A zase neskutečně výborně.Děkuju, byl to opět zážitek se dívat na ty ruce od boha.
Dík, ale zas nemusíš přehánět. Je na tom spoustu chyb.
Fantastic!!!! You must be the worlds greatest model builder!! 👍
Well, to say that was your first motorcycle kit you have achieved an excellent result. I hope you will build more of them in the future. Great job as always David.🙂👍🏻
Thanks. I hope too.
Fantastic job. Wonderful paint job and superb build. Top rate!
Jsi vážně talent. Tohle nemá obdoby. Každej tvůj model nemá obdoby. Začínám lajkovat, což normálně nedělám. Ty si to zasloužíš, jako nikdo jinej.
Díky moc za podporu :-D
Possibly the fanciest scale model channel about! Really great video
Looks absolutely stunning, great job.
Wow, you must own basically every metalic paint known to man. Great collection!
Man, I've been on an Makett Building Competition in Junior cathegory on 2nd place with a Messerschmitt Bf 109 G but your job is much better than mine. Respect!
One of my childhood favourites (The GSXR) and an amazing build. Looks awesome.

I don't know why I bother watching your videos, you're so good it's depressing!
Man, David what a wonderful job, this model really shows off your skills man...it's one thing to do a tank or plane where small mistakes can be hidden or covered up but this model required an incredible amount of patience and attention to detail...WELL DONE my friend, keep up the great work and we'll keep watching.
another work of art.... absolutely stunning
I owned an 86 GSXR 750. Yoshimura exhaust, K&N jet kit and air filters. Black and red. It had a red seat. Sold it in 2002 in excellent condition for $3,200.
I think you did a pretty rad job. This was a good build video to watch
just fantastic!!!! was a pleasure to watch the detail and level of realism are truly superb
Another brilliant build and video! Awesome ! 👌
Fantastic build David! Result is great, as always :) Decals are real headache on such curved surfaces, especially if they are old, you can use hairdryer to help them align properly. Thanks for building a bike, I enjoyed watching it very much!
Отличное видео! Даже с минимальным знанием английского, просто и доступно!
Beautiful! I learned a lot watching you build this kit.
Thanks. I am glad that I can share my techniques with you. :-D
Awesome work David!!It really looks absolute realistic with all the little details you add to the model. It's always a Celebration watching your videos and I look forward to the next one:-)Greetings from Germany!
Amazing work, thanks for the inspiration David.
Whatever u touch comes to life!!Amazing!
I love that you are expanding into other types of models! Your ship looked great, but I think you've really proven your talent with this one. If I had seen this in a picture or from a distance I would think it was real. Amazing attention to detail.
You should try your hand at something else now, like a locomotive.
You are my master. I bow to you David.
I really like your video to show us how to make a great bike ,please keep share more video to us,thanks.
Super job, another awesome build
Absolutely fantastic build David & some great ideas to add a few extra details with a bit of patience, thanks & happy modelling. It would be great to see you build the new Riich models 1/35 universal carrier MK1 if you get your hands on one.
Very nice job, that model is amazing, but with you at working it...WOW! Thanks a lot! I learn more for my next project!
Hey PLASMO - plastic models, Good day to you. This Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R750 1986 1/12 Fujimi - Motorcycle Model turned out super clean and the attention to detail was off the charts. Excellent Job! For your first motorcycle build you really nailed it. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, skills, tips, love for the hobby, and these super AWESOME Builds. Take care and have a great day. Peace :D Back to more videos :P edit: I came back to watch this again. WOW! made sure I liked and shared. Wishing you the very BEST! I really appreciate your skills and your FANTASTIC Fun videos. :D
That was an excellent video. I was impressed by the way you sanded and then polished the decals to make them look like one with the paint. Perhaps an expanded techinique video of how you did this could be done. It would be of benefit to motorcycle and automotive modellers.
Absolutely fantastic!! I too am building my first motorcycle, and I have been inspired by your video! Thank you!
An absolutely fantastic build!
This is so crazy! Keep up the absolutely ASTOUNDING work!!
It's just a pleasure to watch this level of craftsmanship!

Brilliant David very impressive!. Much respect from America my friend.
PLASMO, your Videos are absolutely top notch. So incredible pleasing to watch, so well edited and shot. Amazing. Every thing is just perfect. Thank you for this wonderful, great entertainment.
Mr. Master strikes again! Awesome video, exceptional work! Thanks!
Beautiful Build
you are a great model builder! Regards from germany!
I remember racing against this bike in real life! We were a small Endurance team from the U.K. with a GSXR750. The production bikes were fragile compared to the works entered bikes. Ours always was breaking something in the engine! In the end we went for a Honda RC30, also a lovely kit made by Tamiya, which I have never built to supplement the real thing, which I have!
Absolutely a cracking job, from the master, my hats off to you Dave, again. Well done on a brilliant kit mate.
As always your attention to detail is amazing thank you for building this 👍👍👍
That little airbrush is amazing!
Outstanding work, barely recognizable as a model. Your sense for detailling is just stunning. Keep on.
Absolutely amazing job, the clear coat at the end gives a wonderful finish!
Great build my friend. You’re really talented. I really enjoy watching your videos.

The take apart in reverse was great!!
Brilliant bike and model choice.. It looks fantastic. I had a GSXR750H which was the road going equivalent. Fantastic bike and 1st generation of Hypersports .
Great video and very helpful, I made a lot of planes and tanks and going to try a couple of bikes
nice craftmanship showing plastic model is much better than diecast
David, you put a lot of research and care in2 the model you build.
