How to Adjust AR15 and AR10 Gas Block | Palmetto State Armory
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 чер 2024
- Adjusting an AR-15 gas block is primarily done to control the amount of gas that is directed from the barrel back into the gas system to cycle the action. This helps to mitigate the recoil of the system, achieve proper ejection, and adjust for different ammo types and suppressors.

PSA has enough new ideas for the next 5 years. Time for them to start really focusing on perfecting their QC.
Perfect QC doesn't exist in any company. Even planes from Boeing have problems , Mercedes, bmw and any car manufacturer has recalls. Let me know if there is any gun company with perfect record. Look at Beretta and their cracking slides and frames. And that's 500 years old gun company
PSA is an amazing company
37mm launcher when!?
I’m so ready for the shotgun
Great video. Short and easy to understand instructions on a topic a lot of us need help on. Well done!
These are educational and simply explained thank you
Can’t wait for my Sabre to come in 🤠🇺🇸 she’s gorgeous
You are going to love it!
Thank you
Was always told 4 o’clock was ideal 3 o’clock slightly over gassed
Video with info on AAC ammo!
I'd like to see how to do this on the older PA-10 models.
I would so love to have that 308 it is too bad ass - but im blue collar 😢
Can you talk about how the super sass has the adjustable stock? What do we have to do to switch the fixed one with an adjustable one.
How long until the PSA emerge? Also, can you add barrel length filter to the left side of the website when looking for uppers? thanks
My gas never worked right on my AR10 from PSA so had a gun smith install a traditional gas block
1st shot you added a click to your left, 2nd shot add another click to your left. 3rd shot was perfect 3 o'clock and then you moved the gas block the wrong way and called it good at 2 o'clock!? 😂 😂😂
Is there any timeframe of when we’ll be able to pre order the x5.7?
Many other UA-camrs that Iv seen review this rifle have said the gas block adjustments aren’t audible, or tactile. Clearly that isn’t the way they are supposed to be I’m assuming?
I have one of the above rifles, it is both audible and tactile. It's not super stiff and you can over rotate more than you want but it's easy enough to just put right back.
*incoherent screeches about wanting psa to make things*
All I'm saying is.... I want a drop leg holster and some high velocity 27gr ammo to go with my X5.7..... they would sell out of both and fill a gap in the market for affordable high velocity 5.7 ammo. 40gr is OK but to really take advantage of the cartridge you need to capitalize on the high velocity.
@@PracticalTacticalSheepDognot alot of people use 5.7
@@Quenton-kz9rg depends on what your comparing it to. Compared to 9/40/45 no not a lotof users. Compared to 357sig/44mag/30 super carry, 5.7 is really popular.
JAKL 6.5cm coming after 308?
Isn’t all the way to the right is CLOSED, all the way to the LEFT is open. You said the opposite!
Send more stickers.
About how many rounds does it take for the gas block to loosen up enough to turn by hand? I still have to turn mine with a flathead screwdriver.
I dont think any amount of shots is the requirement. Just work it back and forth until it loosens. Mine was also very tight.
Could be the set screw
Make a semi-auto shotgun.
PSA, tell us about your canadian diversity consultants, namely S.B.I. IF it's something you're proud of, something your customers would support (IDK, you tell me, customers), then why you hiding it? I wanted to support y'all, but same as every other company, exec, etc. keeps proving, almost all of y'all are the same - and that isn't a compliment.
THESE GUYS ARE NEVER GOING TO COME OUT WITH THE COMPACT 5.7 ROCK
