I have this mouse since a couple of weeks and I am using on Linux. No problem at all. The only thing that is a bit of a pity is that the connector can't be housed into the mouse it self. If you use Bluetooth than this is something that gets lost easily. It is the first mouse that I did not put any additional rubber pads on to make better stick to the palm of my hand, for it has a very good rugged surface. It fits very well into my bigger hands. I am using it easily up to 10 hours a day (as I am a developer for profession) and I am very fond of this one. But still it is a more affordable, but still an almost lazy copied Chinese product. I think that Logitech must be somewhat getting frustrated that they do the hard work and the Chinese is getting on the roll with it. But despite that it is a very good one I must admit, half the price of the "real" thing.
@@falkovon9135 Until now just fine, I haven't had it charged until now and I am using it 8 hours a day now since I bought it. It comes with an USB cable that can be attached while charging. I have used it Bluetooth and with the radio receiver, but there is no sign of any exhaustion yet. To me it is still the best mouse I had in years. I am not a gamer, but full time developer, so I use it a lot.
I find Logitech deserve to be copied like that because of their shady business. I own Mx master, G700, G700s all had double click problems after a year or a year and a half. My Rapoo i buy as a knockoff when I wait for my new mouse never have any problems and still going strong for 2 year. Since rapoo is cheaper than MX I used it outdoor on construction site, never have any problems, while my MX shit comfortable at home have double click. Funny thing is, My G1 logitech mouse never have this problem and I had have it for 10 years.
Whats the scroll wheel like on this compared to the MX Masters tactile feedback switch? The scroll wheel auto-shifts into fast scroll mode or can be enabled with the top button did they copy that?
The quality of the product is low. After 4 months, the scroll wheel stopped working. When scrolling up or down, it often slips and does not scroll on the screen, or scrolls in the opposite direction. I do not recommend to buy.
@@samjpullen Hey Sam, so I bought the mouse. I have one problem, what the heck does that scroll wheel do? I am rolling it up and down and it does nothing. Also, the lights on the mouse are so dim, is there a way to make them brighter? Appreciate your help.
@@samjpullen Ok, thanks man. I have the Performance MX and have had to do self repairs on the LMB years ago, and now it’s not moving correctly with my M1 MBA. Maybe they haven’t updated for the M1 or the macOS, I don’t know. I just need a quality mouse with Bluetooth because lack of ports. Was tempted to get their vertical one, but like all mice, I read such mixed reviews on Amazon. One persons on cloud 9 feeding grapes to their new mouse, while the next person is gathering an old rug, plastic, and duct tape, because they’re making plans on how to dispose of the same mouse. I guess if nothing else, I ship the MF’r back to Amazon if it gives me any slack.
Please change the model name of the mouse in the title name from mt750 to mt750s. Other than that its a pretty good and comprehensive video on the mouse.
This is not a review, this is crap It feels like total crap in your hand. You have no control over the speed. It's flimsy and a bad copy of the logitech version
I did test it on a computer, my MacBook Pro at the time. Me showing you it working on a computer does nothing, it works and I gave my experience within this video. Idiot.

How's the battery life on it ? how long does it last ?

keep it up sam, been watching your videos for years and you\'re still one of my faves.
Wow, thanks!
Wish there was a specific Mac driver for it to configure the buttons etc.

How is it useful / What feature has it useful for video editing like Premiere Pro??
Hello. My left and right mousebutton are shifted by some reasen. How can I reverse it? TY
You said this is smaller than your daily driver... so that got me wondering, what _is_ your daily driver?
The MX Master
Is the Rapoo Mt750s worth it then or would it be better to go the original mx master
The MX Master is a much better and higher quality device.
But for the price the Rapoo does very good.
I am left handed, you think a lefty could use this? Thank you...
Unfortunately not, 100% would feel awkward

Is the wheel continous scrolling as well like that of Logitech? I suppose not?
Unfortunately not.
@@samjpullen Thanks a lot!
Debating between this and the MX3. How much better is the MX3 to justify the price? And why? Because you mentioned you went back to your Logitech.
The Logitech is overall a quality bit of kit, this isn't bad but it's levels off the quality, speed, software and precision of the Logitech.

Still using the mouse in 2021?
I didn't know those stickers were on the bottom either, paused the video to take them off
Glad it's not just me...lol
Omg... I thought there was something wrong with my new mouse. It was the damn stickers...
Can I customize the second scroll ???
Will you recommend this mouse for productivity?
You can be productive with any mouse.
@@samjpullen thanks man, was there any latency?
Nothing that I noticed.
How about gaming? Is it doable?
Not at all for me....
How can i pair it with my tablet without the dongle
are there somewhere somtning similar with silent buttons ?
are they providing magnetic scroll wheel?
No

Hey thank you for the video. Can anyone help me how do I know when the mouse is fully charged?
hey I just lost the usb plug, is there a way I still can connect my mouse to my pc now?
You can use it via Bluetooth 👍🏻
also I plugged the mouse in with a usb cable to my pc but it doesn't work, now it gives purple and red led signs. I have no idea what it means
kevin rznd you need to set it up via Bluetooth, not the cable as that's just for charging.
@@samjpullen ah oke thanks a lot for the fast reply!
How is it holding up over time? Are there scratches? I heard that it gets scratched pretty easily.
Sorry I can't help with that one, I used it for around a week for the video and then it was moved on and I went back to my MX Master 3.
is it soundless?
is the middle part made of metal or all plastic?
It's all plastic.
how can i use the side scroll? somehow it doesn't work for mine
Do you have any idea if this works for ipad? Especially the side scrolling?
yes, tried it with the iPad Pro, works just fine. Keep in mind that the sensor is not that good.
@@heyramineni thank you! Just wanted to make sure the side scrolling works for ipad right?
Fantastic review. Thanks man.
Hi Sam/All, planning to get this for work and davinci resolve. Does the side scroll wheel work in scrubbing the timeline? Thanks and great video!
Have u tested on the iPad?? Will it work well? Couldn’t find any review on that though
It works just like most mice do on the iPad with Bluetooth :)
DO you still use this mouse? how was it for long term?
I only used it for the week or so that I reviewed it.
Thanks Sam!
Anytime buddy 👍🏻
Are those side buttons programmable
Yes. X-Mouse Button Control (freeware) let's you do that
thanks for the connectivity explanation 07:00
Glad it was helpful!
Is it ok for ps4?
What is the battery life like, and does the Mouse when do free scrolling?
No it doesn't and battery is around the quoted time.
Does it work for MacBook?
Yes it does work for both MacOS and Windows
I subscribed, can\'t wait for the next one.
you, my good sir, are? a champ
👊
Great video, thanks!
You're very welcome 👍🏻
Power management and battery life on this mouse is hideous.
Does it have same scroll wheel with electromagnet, to enable/disable wheel clicking when scrolling?
No it's cheap for a reason 👍🏻
As a mouse it just about works but it's cheap nasty rattly and a world away from the Logitech version. No turbo scroll either.
lost me at microUSB. type C or nothing.
Keep it up! nice video
Thanks, will do!
Other mouse...., Logitech MX Master ...., if you know, you know, lol
