Cute Sophisticated Marital comedy...you can "hear" the Mocking laughter in Theda's voice as if it were Ina Claire or Irene Dunne sparing with Cary Grant, as she taunts and takes sweet "revenge" on her Philandering husband in giving him a taste of his own medicine. Wish there were more Theda Bara films available but we have to thankful for small mercies that this modest Chadwick Pictures (the precursor of Monogram Pictures) special exists. I wish she had hooked up with John Miljan rather return to Wyndham Standing.
That is really the Leviathan of the United States Lines at13:57, which used to be the German liner Vaterland, before she was awarded to the United States as part of Germany's war reparations after WWI. To this day she remains the largest passenger vessel to ever carry the United States flag. 🇺🇸 Theda Bara is marvelous as Caroline Knollys.
Thank you for posting this, it’s a shame that so few of Theda Bara’s work survived.
