Idk why more companies don't put controls on their cases, it's a lot easier reaching for the case in your pocket than fiddling with the earbuds to toggle ANC. With multipoint pairing I might get these to replace my buds3 pro if they break.
Yeah I was discussing this with a few other UA-camrs and it seems to be very divided. I love the feature, but some other big names in the tech space were telling me the benefits did not outweigh the financial and size costs associated.
I often leave the case at home while listening to the buds (Liberty 3 pro) like if I walking the dog. I don’t mind option on the case, but not in lieu of controls on the buds.
Feature #3 Decimal limit is actually the coolest thing I've used, I set it to 80db on my 4NC then I never cares about the volume level on my phone laptop or tablet, it applies in the earbuds not just from the device. So you're basically using the full potential of the earbuds instead of worrying about hearing loss. Everybody should copy this feature.
I don’t know, i feel a little bit disappointed: I’ve got Liberty 3 Pro’s and they’re amazing and fit so good in my ears, I almost use them all day for calls and listening to music. I thought the Liberty 4 Pro were an upgraded version of them but feels like just another type of earbuds.
Oh sweet. I had the 3 Pros a few years ago and they were awesome. They definitely deserved a sequel. Loving my Nothing Ear 2024s though, I'd probably be looking at headphones.
People are going to cry uncontrollably about Anker taking the Liberty Pro line from buds to a stem design and how they ripped off Skullcandy Eco Buds' design, right?
Honestly having a display/touch controls on the case of earbuds just makes sense (Love the example you gave about using the case display for controlling audio when connected to devices like an airplaine tv), when implemented correctly (also like you said in the comments). I would however rather have a display on the back of my smartphone (For using the main camera's as selfie cameras) than on my earbud's case currently.
2:40 as a person with the s24 ultra (s pen does the same thing) It's useless, but if you dont have an s pen, you can take a family photo without the awkward timing, all discreetly in your pocket, still a really cool feature
its so cool to see real innovation in the wireless earbud market. for so long I hated the choice between sensitive touch controls, or buttons that end up moving the position of them forcing me to readjust them.
also the shutter mode isnt a gimmick imo. many people set up timers on their phone to take pictures hands free, but you can now take your time to get into position and take the picture when you want, and since its a small case, its easy to hide when using.
Cool feature with the case. I have soundcore vr p10's and they work, feel, and sound pretty damn good for the price. Funny how you have some leaf/branch that fell onto your head in the shots lol.
appreciate this unbiased review although the video seems sponsored. you called out all the downsides of this which is so good to see. i was coming from max tech’s video on these n those guys were completely head over heels for these calling them better than airpods pro 2nd gen in ANC and audio quality which was too hard to believe keep up the great content as always!
It's relatively affordable, for the most part works as well as products almost twice its price, is overall better than the previous iteration, has weird but useful features, and can be bought in many regions of the world? I can't be believe it, a tech product to actually get excited about, and it's a lower mid-range TWS of all things. I am so sick of other tech products being marginal improvements for higher price, man.
I've had the Liberty 2 Pro's for years, and they sound pretty great, but those had a balanced armature tweeter. The 4's moved away from that, and I'd bed that's why they don't sound as good. The 2's also were bean shaped, and came with wings as well to help keep them in.
Soundcore need to put the airplane mode in all earbuds or at least something to measure cabin pressure because it sometimes messes up noise cancelling stability, you can actually feel the pressure in your ear
I have the Liberty 3 pros because how well they fit with the wing attachments. the livery 4 pro's new features are awesome but that specific shape/design never work with with ears.
Also one downside is for the price it's lacking modern feature like Auracast or BLE, I've seen some way cheaper earbuds supporting Auracast and BLE, not sure if the usefulness of the codecs but it's better than nothing.
Well that doesn't make sense. The Liberty 4 NC, the budget version of both these and the Liberty 4, has the superior ANC. What kind of marketing is this? It would've been nice and made way more sense for their "Pro" product to have the superior specs. Soundcore is just all over the place with their products, and it's not just in their nomenclature either. Anyway, I forgot what they call it, but my ear has that same "off axis" design where earbuds will cooperate with zero issues in my right ear, but my left ear needs more pampering with ear tips and whatnot...usually a bigger size, since earbuds love to have issues staying put in that ear. You're not alone, Mike.
Personally, I prefer the design on the 4 NC, the glossy parts don't do it for me. The 4 Pro seem like a good buy, but the 4 NC do what I need them to; my 4 NC are good for when I need ANC, but using ANC headphones is too inconvenient.
this guy is wild for downplaying the anc on the soundcores. I have both the airpod pro 2s and these new soundcore buds and i can honestly tell you that the soundcores are better in almost every way including ANC
do you think I should buy Airpod 2 Pro or Liberty 4 Pro? Calling and music are important to me, but I am stuck between Apple Airpod 2 Pro and Liberty 4 Pro Reply

Ngl the Nc version does the exact same thing. I own the nc version and after watching this video it still has the same problems with the NC (Muffled transparency, good enough speaker/drivers). Both have almost the exact same features with a few exceptions. This earphone is definitely still worth the money for how future pack it is but it isn’t worth the upgrade if u already own like a lib 3 pro which in terms of music quality is miles better than the NC or lib 4 pro. Idk why they removed the already good drivers in the lib 3 in favor of the 10/10.5mm drivers. Custom EQ can only do so much.
"...Transparency is a little sub-par". I'm out - anything not competing with the transparency king (AirPods Pro) is a showstopper for me, must have that. Thanks Mike
Great features, but the problem is that it's not exactly cheap anymore. And they're increasingly reaching a price level where people might as well just pay the full price of a market leading product to receive the most uncompromised and best possible technology. ANC in particular is where a lot of people don't want to make compromises I think, especially for a relatively small amount of price difference, because airplane engine noise is such a pain, and in noisy environments it can be hugely important to have the best possible ANC for mental peace and sleeping.
I also have trouble keeping in earbuds in my left ear. In fact researching it on Reddit and Google, it seems the left ear is the problem one for most people who have trouble keeping earbuds in. How does the fit compare with the upcoming Sony Link buds Fit?

I'm disappointed. I wanted a proper sequel to the Liberty 3 pro, not just another stem variant that's I guess supposed to be a slightly nicer version to the Liberty four.
the liberty 4 line and liberty 3 line aren't interchangeable. they're separate. I don't think we'll see another variety or successor to the liberty 3 pro. but yeah, these aren't supposed to be a successor to those

Can you turn the ear buds on and off without putting them in the case? I have the Liberty 2 Pro and can get 2 weeks of use jogging home home from work without the case because they have an on off button, the Liberty 3 Pro didn't have this and would die before the end of my shift because they wouldn't switch off
I was rooting for the sequel to my almost 4 y/o L3P cos the battery lasts only 3hrs max now but I'm disappointed with this new look. The only good with this is the controls and tech on the case.
I'm sick of all the stem style buds. They are always at different angles in the ear and get knocked out. Not interested in the high gloss look either. Just bought a second pair of Space A40s instead. On a positive note, the mics sounded great and the case controls look cool. I would use them over on bud controls.
