Ahhh thank you so much!!! Hahahahaha I will have to make sure I always use this ASMR voice! I tried it on purpose and I’m so glad people noticed! I tend to talk loud because I’m a singer and I was always taught to project my voice onto the wall all the way across the room. That doesn’t do so well in real life situations 🤣. I’m obnoxious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. So this feedback helps me SOOO much! Thank you!! I would love if you shared your pictures of what you make and tag us if you’re on Facebook! I would absolutely LOVE to see! Makes me so happy!🥰
Thank you so much for this video as I will be receiving my very own combs on Christmas day I can't wait for them I keep asking my hubby for them but he is mean and won't let me have them yet hahahah thanks again and your voice is so calming xx
You are very welcome!! Hahahahaha 🤣! It’s going to be worth the wait!! I love my combs! I have the extra fine and super fine pairs. I absolutely adore them! You are going to have SO much fun!
Sadie's Spincraft Are you on Facebook? Come find me!! Lindsey Elizabeth Bucci is my name on there and I have the Reservoir Fibers page. I’m always posting about where I find great raw wools!! My absolute favorite is the merino wool I get imported from Australia. It’s from a farm called “Casalana” who is also on Facebook. The owner’s name is Nui Milton. You can get great practice fleeces from Sherry Tenney’s Wholesale Fleece and Fiber as well! That’s where I started! She has all kinds of stuff but she sells some of the less expensive stuff too, which is PERFECT for practice! I will have some raw Rambouillet, alpaca etc very soon too! We have grown a heck of a lot this year so we will have a lot more stuff available very soon!💕😉
@@ReservoirFibers yes I do it's Sadie wilson and my page is Sadie's Spincraft I've only been spinning for 6mths and loving it I live in England so don't get the same choices as yourself but I can get some nice cheap fleece to play with I also have enjoyed spinning rambouillet and polworth there so soft I really want to try angora and alpaca one day but right now sheep fleece is what I'm enjoying I will go find you on face book now x
Once I can get back to work, I will definitely try! I know I talk about different fibers and their uses in the drum carder videos when I use different ones. Once I can get back to work I have so many things I need to do.
Thank you for generously sharing your experience 💜 I'm curious about the very last bit of waste after dizing. Do you have a use? Thanks again! Love your videos :)
They are so quick too!! Get some panty hose, roll some wool around and make a ball and put it in the panty hose, tie it so it’s circular and let the washing machine felt it! Then roll it around in your hands after to make it more circular! It’s also AMAZING mulch! Weeds will not grow if you lay down wool as your mulch! Especially alpaca I have read!!
Yes if you comb them out on your combs it will change the prep from woolen to worsted. It will align them parallel to each other versus zig zagging on carders or a drum carder. I’ve done it before so I knew the exact amounts of what was in the yarn I was spinning versus guessing and just throwing fiber on.
@@kilimanjarno it comes in super handy!! I’m all about helping and enabling lol! That’s why I do the videos! I feel the need to help when I can! If you aren’t in any fiber arts groups yet on Facebook you should definitely join! So many wonderful and helpful people!! Tons of groups! So fun!🥰
I love that you don't yell. So many youtube instructors yell. Thank you for talking the way you do.
I was trying really hard to make this ASMR-esque! I will definitely keep that in my head when I do other videos!! Thank you for that input!!!
I'd give this video two thumbs up if I could, one for the combing and one for using the diz. I love your soft voice. It's so soothing.
Lori B thank you so much for saying that!! I have been working sooooo super hard on this stuff!! I am so happy my voice isn’t annoying hahaha!
Great tutorial with bonus hypnotism
I feel very calm yet capable of making a combed top now 😂

Do you have a video on the different types of fiber and their uses?

PG yessss!!! Wool dryer balls, coils in art yarn, even mulch for the garden! There are SOOO MANY WAYS TO USE WASTE!!
@@ReservoirFibers I never thought about dryer balls. That's a great suggestion! I haven't made those yet ❤️ have a lovely day!
