And he hugged me. It changed my life as a teenager and I carried that feeling with me for years….as a 31-year-old, I still do.

This looks absolutely exhausting. And he’s been doing it for YEARS. The fact he still looks each person directly in the eyes and tries to offer as much attention and sincerity as he can while probably acutely uncomfortable says so much about his character. Amazing.
