Sooo you think pulla is bread and that's the reason you didn't like the rye bread, because you have never had bread before, just "pulla"... :D bread is supposed to be food, not a sweet snack

Kaikki pitää olla amerikkalaisilla niin pirun makeaa, suolaista tai rasvaista, sitten normaali terveellinen ruisleipä maistuu pahvilta, hohhoijaa... Veikkaanpa että hänellä ei ole ns. ruista ranteessa, kun koko ikänsä syöny vaaleaa pumpulia :D

The last one, it's not bread, it's pulla. I guess you would call it sweet bread? Korvapuusti (cinnamon roll) is also a pulla. The one with the butter on it is called voisilmä (literally meaning "butter eye").
(Honestly though, I've heard that the bread in america is mostly white bread and eating white bread here is often said to be like "eating pulla", so I guess it would make sense that you call it bread? Idk ^^;;)

Anyways, it always warms my cold Finnish heart to watch a video of non-Finnish people liking Finland and Finnish food and traditions and things. ´ w`
The Suomenlinna island has a certain Finnish speciality, you probably ran to prisoners serving time, without noticing it :) The island has one of the "open prisons", the inmates work or study during the day time, they have a lot of freedom to come and go, they just have to spend certain hours inside. The system is a step between closed prison and freedom, to prepare the inmates for the normal life.
Fun fact, there are more reindeers living in Finnish Lapland than humans.

Rye bread is popular in Finland for a reason our bread is real bread because we don't add sweeteners or sugar in it. Next time try rye bread with soup for example so you wont get hungry for a long time :)

A shame that you didn't like rye bread, but I guess it is about what one is used to eat and taste. If you have a chance in the future, maybe try it with something more than just butter. XD You should also try "Reissumies, tosi tumma" which is rye bread, but it has syrup in it, so it's a bit sweeter. And maybe try some rye chips, you can find those with different flavors.
But at least you liked reindeer meat! :) Now you can tell all your friends that you ate Rudolph.

Well this reissumies rye bread there is 1.1g salt on 100g and it's only 2 pieces.
Never tried an actual rye bread that is fully homemade tho.
