Well the day of release I got my hands on um and oh boy so impressed with them delkim have out done themselves well done guys the best just got a whole lot better
Some good features but look to cheap for £140 could have made them look better for the tackle tarts.... Should have kept the txi+ look but added the extra features to them 👍

All this time in development and I can't understand why Delkim haven't moved to a wifi/bluetooth based unit controled by an app. Surely the next generation technology would remove the need for a reciever box and with the use of an app on a phone or tablet. There would be more control,versatility and lots more options. These could change and improve with app updates. Think they have missed a trick there as I did mention it to one of the delkim represtatives at a angling fare 4 years ago and all i got was a blank look.Don't get me wrong Delkims are the best indicators on the market in my opinion but I expected more from them with this next generation of alarms.
This is an idea that many people have asked us about and on the surface looks a great idea. Unfortunately Bluetooth and WiFi are very power hungry and also, in the case of WiFi, rely on there being a signal present. As a large amount of fishing is done in the middle of nowhere, where there is a not always a good signal, this means you can not reply on your phone to be a receiver. With Bluetooth the range is very limited and you would need to charge your phone constantly while you are fishing which is something that is not always possible. One of Delkim’s major USP’s is it long battery life. Our receiver has over 6000 hours which no phone will ever compare with. Until the technology or power consumption improves we are going to stay with our current methods.
You’d go through batteries like no end and also how far does your WiFi or Bluetooth signal last if you leave your house! My Bluetooth speaker will disconnect if I go up or downstairs and WiFi maybe has a 20m range if that...

DelkimTV common sense would of had no dnd at all, love delkim txi plus I have no issues but dnd is a shit feature to have regardless of the situation, 4 seconds and the fish could be in a snag you don’t even no about in open water, what happens if it takes you in to a snag your unaware of after 2 seconds then you wake up or check rods to see your line right and snagged up and you didn’t know? And why would you need 60+ different tones?

I hate pushing two buttons for one thing, then press another button after pressing a different button. I’d forget the sequences and end up leaving it as it was.
There are certainly some major technical advances over the old system but if you are happy with you current Delkim products then that's great. Enjoy!!!
Define a hater mate? I har txi plusses for over 10 years. Towards the end they started playing up alot. So not hate speaking from my own experiences. These do look great though but I am happy with my my fox ntxrs

Your right because the tec they use isn't that ground breaking it's been about years now other alarms are moving to inferred movement sensors there is nothing new on these alarms and I think they look shit

Depends on the water. I can think of a few pits were you can leave your rods for a few minutes because any run can go for miles with no snags or troubles

DelkimTV -I think all of the Delkim range are fantastic products,but the law says it is ‘illegal to leave rod and line in the water over which you don’t have sufficient control’.I think that would mean going to the toilet/helping your mate out 750m away,even if only for a few minutes.

No it is allowing you to use higher response levels but then be able to slow the beeps down so you get more information rather than it going in to warble straight away if you want.
I'm sure he says 750meters in standard mode but you can use boost mode which gives an extra 15/20% range but it will go off after 15minutes and return to previous setting.Also a local range of 50meters to save on battery life
I just started getting back into fishing again and was gonna upgrade my ev’s to the txi, just found out about these new alarms, I think both the alarm and receiver looks poor quality. Considering I can’t get hold of the old txi, I’m gonna stick to my ev’s and get a ATTx receiver and dongles, will still be better than the new delkims.

Im fluss egal mit welcher einstellung ich habe alles probiert immer fehlsignale immer piept es bei wellen bei strömungsänderungen oder man stellt dann alles so unsensibel dann kommt beim run 5 pieper und der fisch ist schon 10meter weg alles eine gute Idee mit peep speed und Response aber noch echt nicht ausgereift! Bin echt enttäuscht leider!

Ich hab mir 4stück txi d gekauft und einen empfänger ich habe davor schon alles gelernt von videos und alles was online war ich wollte sofort den neuen haben weil der alte echt gut war bis auf den schlechten empfang dachte der neue hat extremen empfang das muss der perfekte bissanzeiger sein aber es funktioniert einfach nicht es macht mich sehr traurig wenn sie eine lösung für diese probleme haben bitte melden sie sich ich will den alten mit guten empfang mehr braucht man nicht
@@Ich.gehe.Angeln.xxl. This makes no sense as the vibration system on the new alarms work exactly the same as on the old. The only thing that has changed is that you have all the adjustment on the one R control and you can even turn it lower than the old system. I believe something must not be right in the way you're using the new alarms as to have this problem seems very strange.
I remember when the TXI+ came out, I picked up the lead at the show and moved it off without the alarm making a sound, matey then takes the lead and gives it a good tug to make them bleep whilst looking proper embarrassed 👎🏼
Vibration does not work the same way as a wheel. It can ignore slow movement i.e. bobbin creep, but pick up knocks on the line and movement from fish. I think the fact we have been doing it the same for 25 years and won countless awards shows that our system works pretty well!
@@DelkimLtd Delkim alarms can also miss slow moving takes, Jaime Clossick has stated that his rod was bent round and line was being taken without his Delkims registering a sound on carpcast, what is that saying? Something about not being able to fool all of the people all of the time....... At least you didn't pretend that me moving a lead off without a bleep didn't happen at the show, the light is there for all that seek it, those who wish to sit in the dark may do so!
@@RodDuster I would suggest the alarm was not set correctly if the rod was able to be bent round without setting off the alarm. Our alarms are the only ones on the market that can register knocks on the rod without the bobbin moving. But you clearly have your opinion and that is fair enough.
You can give them a brush to remove any dirt if you are finding them stuff. Also you can lift them away from the moulding slightly with a knife it you feel the fit is too tight. The fit is tight to aid waterproofing.

Now make a new generation of bite alarms with the best digital technology and then it looks like an 20 € bite alarm. Where is the English quality bite alarm that all delkim fans waiting for years? I'm very disappointed 😞
when are bite alarms gonna come with rechargeable batteries like headtorches and mobile phones if your battery dies at the bank you can plug in a battery power bank or solar panel to charge it that would be far more of an advantage than silly gimmicks
Who's lame idea was it for that run light 🤣🤣, shocking!! Surely it would be better to bring a bivvy light out that connects to the alarms that comes on after 4sec like other alarms on the market. I'm not knocking delkims I've had them for years and they've never let me down, but I'm a bit disappointed with these new ones. Delkims used to be the benchmark for all the other alarms but it seems you are falling behind
@@DelkimLtd Isn't the receiver extra equipment then?? 6 small led's do the job get real mate. That's just lazy and poor product development. Just like the do not disturb feature. You should have ditched the wheel on the receiver put a led screen on it, to which you can access a menu so you can adjust everything on the alarm from the bivvy, These alarms could have been so much better then people with txi's, me included would be happy to upgrade but these are just not worth it.
Got them pure rubbish I sold them 72 hours later, to make matters worse when the wind blows the alarm goes off, would hate to think of the rain, 550 for pure junk, Nash r3 all the way, and that is straight up first time I said a bad word about delkim, you couldn’t give them to me.
I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with our alarms. If you are getting false beeps it would suggest the response was not quite set correctly but as you no longer have then we will never know.

4 seconds seems to long for a run indication
yeah i thought that lol i had a 27lb 10 oz was biggest in the lake and all i had was 2 bleeps

Has defaults that mean you can just turn on and fish. If you wish to personalise you can.
That receiver looks utter plastic crap the features are mostly rubbish too there was a time when british built was a guarantee of quality sadly these delkims do not look as though they fit that criteria although i see they still like to charge top dollar just the same no doubt they will catch plenty of tackle tarts who lack imagination

@@DelkimLtd for 550 € or more I would have an bite alarm that looks quality build like the last generation. I'm delkim fan since 15 years and have in this time 5 sets of txi plus with range problems. Now make a new generation of bite alarms with the best digital technology and then it looks like an 20 € bite alarm.
Where is the English quality bite alarm that all delkim fans waiting for years? I'm very disappointed 😞
Perosnally I feel that Delkim were left behind for a while but these new devices have massively improved them and they look superb
when are bite alarms gonna come with rechargeable batteries like headtorches and mobile phones if your battery dies at the bank you can plug in a battery power bank or solar panel to charge it that would be far more of an advantage than silly gimmicks
With a battery life of well over a year a rechargeable battery is not needed.
So my 3 txi plus are shit now

Who's lame idea was it for that run light 🤣🤣, shocking!! Surely it would be better to bring a bivvy light out that connects to the alarms that comes on after 4sec like other alarms on the market.
I'm not knocking delkims I've had them for years and they've never let me down, but I'm a bit disappointed with these new ones. Delkims used to be the benchmark for all the other alarms but it seems you are falling behind
If you have a receiver that does the job why would you want to buy an extra piece of equipment?
@@DelkimLtd Isn't the receiver extra equipment then?? 6 small led's do the job get real mate. That's just lazy and poor product development. Just like the do not disturb feature.
You should have ditched the wheel on the receiver put a led screen on it, to which you can access a menu so you can adjust everything on the alarm from the bivvy,
These alarms could have been so much better then people with txi's, me included would be happy to upgrade but these are just not worth it.

Got them pure rubbish I sold them 72 hours later, to make matters worse when the wind blows the alarm goes off, would hate to think of the rain, 550 for pure junk, Nash r3 all the way, and that is straight up first time I said a bad word about delkim, you couldn’t give them to me.
I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with our alarms. If you are getting false beeps it would suggest the response was not quite set correctly but as you no longer have then we will never know.
