Wow very good can't believe when I see these captions don't click on them this is great!
Duncan reminds me of my late father. Never went anywhere without a shirt and tie. Thankyou for sharing his passion with us
……… did your father wire up his tie to look like it had been blown in the wind behind his shoulder… 🤣🤣 thats when I first met Duncan all those years ago. Thank you for kind comment x
What a thoroughly great way to spend an hour. Duncan is the epitome of a car enthusiast and has some great stories - which could easily have taken up much more time. Well done Lara for keeping some form of shape to Duncan’s enthusiasm !
It is quite an achievement keeping Duncan in line! He is a fascinating character though.
Thank you so much, so pleased you enjoyed the podcast. I try to keep everyone to an hour and yes it was properly tricky ensuring I covered the important cars in our allocated time. I managed to get a few words in - even if my facts were all wonky! Best wishes Lara
Thank you so much for another wonderful video and podcast ! I am a huge Duncan fan and very much enjoy watching him speak. I always learn so much about his cars and experiences ! We look forward to your next Vintage Velocity podcast. --Dr. Paul Lynn, Hochkraeusen Racing Team, Ohio, U.S.
Thank you so much for your comment . I loved chatting to Duncan. I hope I made him speak about his cars as much as the time allowed.
Duncan, you're my hero! You're an inspiration to my 26R build. When I first started going to race meetings, the mechanics were also the drivers.
Duncan's S76 is the best car in the world. I've seen it so many times at Goodwood and it is jaw dropping. Duncan is the man.
So pleased you enjoyed the podcast and enjoyed learning more about the car you love. Best wishes Lara
This is wonderful. I could listen to these folks for hours, but I especially enjoy the periodic and progressively more frustrated appearances of Steve to the tool chest
Steve was so patient with me. I did try to keep to an hour recording so he could work on ‘quiet’ jobs🤣 Thank you for enjoying the interview. X
Duncan is WOW !!!!
So pleased you enjoyed the podcast. I do hope you enjoy all the others too. We have some fascinating characters I think xx
Another light the blue touch paper and stand well back. Well done Lara a great interview and some historical facts confirmed.
I'm looking forward to the next one already.
A great start to 2025.
Thank you so much. I loved the giggles we had here. X
I enjoyed that! thank you everyone involved for your time and effort in making it
Thank you so much xx
Great fun! Thankyou!
Thank you so much for enjoying the chat xx
Why does Duncan have South Australian numberplates hanging on the fixtures??
Pleased to see the Cheetah looking straightened in the background
This was filmed before Goodwood Revival 2024….🙄
it was as easy as buying a house! wow this is dated.
Might be easier to buy a Bugatti now🙄
Smutty innuendo, swearing and silliness. He clearly loves the sound of his own voice. I hope I never meet the man.
Thank you Stefan for your positive, encouraging, inspiring and wonderfully kind comments about our podcast and guest. Looking forward to seeing you soon at the next VSCC event somewhere - where I may find you drawing the Beast of Turin. xx
@ :) Damn, how did you know it was me? Great interview, I’m going to listen to the Roger Collings one next. Looking forward to bumping into you soon! X
Are cockpit jokes appropriate? Or do they constitute sexual harassment in this context? Grow up mate, third form was decades ago. This could have been an interesting video but was marred by the juvenile “humour” at the start.
Get a life! If anyone takes offence from this then perhaps UA-cam is not for you...this chap is interesting and talks with real passion.
@@MrMkindy Great reply, Duncan Pittaway is a complete Gentleman, He's just having fun and to be quite honest the Interviewer took everything he said in the context it was meant
