Who ever made this video got the images wrong. LRDG were originally made up of NZers known as LRP long Range Patrol then renamed LRDG. The famous Jeep image are/were SAS you can see their wings ,also the shoot house parts are NZ SAS filmed 4 years ago and your thumbnail were NZ SAS Intercontinental Kabul Afghan 2010 apart from that the rest is Brit .............me thinks.
@@jointbasepodcast The former SAS trooper from Bravo 2 Zero at the 13 minute mark identified as Colin Armstrong is better known by his pen-name, Andy McNabb. Edit, now we get to 14 and a half minutes and he's calling somebody else Andy McNabb. I'm not 100% sure what his real name is, but I know what he looks like, and the first guy was definitely him.
This video is full of holes for instance all members of the sas cycle through the counter revolutionary wing, lots of time in the killing house black overalls gas masks. You get the idea.
It would make sense that the SAS would go through similar training. How in-depth is it? The FBI goes through CI training. That doesn't mean they are fully qualified to do that job. They just have a brief understanding.
More often linked to the Special Reconnaissance Regiment as it's not a Sabre squadron.
Thanks for the feedback brother
Special Activities would be CIA equivalent i presume
I'll check them out!
“Special Activities Center” formerly Special Activities Division.. Consisting of JSOC and CIA Paramilitary Operations Officers
