Thank you for the video. I love this little machine I use it for a "travel" machine. I was wondering if I can change the stitch width and position on the Mode 1 Stitches 1 that comes up when I turn the machine on? Currently it is set for 3.5 and 2.2. I want to change, and save it, to 4.0 and 2.4 so when I turn the machine on it comes on with 4.0 and 2.4. I've had no luck in doing this. Is it even possible?

How to fix Janome 4120 QDC E4 error. Most likely machine does not respond to the Comand. Let me know how to fix it? Please make a video to fix this issue. I think the motherboard needs to be replaced!

Do you prefer this machine to the 6650?

I have a Janome 4120QDC and I wanted to know how to adjust the font size when it come to the letter stitching and what needle should I use.

HI Angelina! Page 55 of the Instruction Manual details the steps of changing the font size. As for the needle, it depends on your fabric and thread choice, but for most general sewing I use the Janome Red tip Sz14 needle, which has a larger eye and a sharp point. You'll need to use a stabilizer under your fabric to support to density of the fonts and do some test samples to experiment with spacing of the letters so you get the look you desire. Happy Sewing!

Stitch #17 in Mode 2 is a good alternative

@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 how do you make the wave longer? It's too compact! I tried it on a blanket last night and didn't like it at all. Seems that the max length is 2.0 :( I miss the big wave. All these stitches and the removed a basic one. Two thumbs down for that 👎👎

@@saysaybear123 length can't be adjusted beyond preprogramed max. Perhaps try a Free-Motion serpentine stitch. You'll be able to control the length just as you'd like!

@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 life! Awful at fmq, I have RA so my hands have poor function. I liked being able to just out on my walking foot, hold the quilt straight and let my machine work. Bummer. Love this machine except for this!
