When will the CEO/ Upper mngmt people realize that they work 20 hr a day because the pay/rewards structure for the risks they took is paying rich dividends. People have different priorities. Most never get a chance and other choose not to take huge risks in life because they have too many people depending on them. Perhaps, one failure could derail a family. Many could be trying to make ends meet by working for an employer because their priorities are different. Their priorities mean that they cannot and will not work for you 24x7.

There is a difference between working 20hrs for yourself and 20hrs for someone else. He wants others to work hard for him to reap maximum rewards. If he is that firm believer why can't he work similar jobs to that offered in his company or elsewhere company puri hekdi nikal jayegi , he wont even get any compensation for working 20hrs and 7 days a week.

Start paying by the hours and then we'll see if you still don't believe in work - life balance. Capitalist CEOs have gotten quite comfortable with having their employees slog for hours at the negligible expense to their company. The expectation of having your employees work as hard as you are should come at similar compensations as well buddy. Remember it's a two way street.

I used to work 12 hours, with just an hour break in between. I have anxiety, high bp, migraine, brain fog and memory issues so intense that I keep losing important stuff all the time. One time i fell asleep behind the wheel at a drive-through. Do not ruin your health people, some of these damages are not reversible.

I started my career as a assistant technician at a 4 wheeler showroom, the timing was 9 to 6:30 some times 7:30 and the salary was 6000, my senior's salary was 12000 and the experienced technician's 14000. Even some times we had to come on sunday's.
We used to work non-stop, still we were not getting any appreciation nor leaves easily. Nobody thinks about automobile service industry because there's less demand because the supply is more.
Just for experience we had to work like slaves.
And you casually say you don't agree with work life balance.

Agar har ek employee admi ko salary k badle property k profit ka barabar hissa doge, company k andar tumhare jaisa he uski puri family k liye flat,khana,gym, swimming pool,bar, restaurant, hospital , theatre, school, college park dedoge toh wo b din raat udar he pada rahega. Any team consists of different personalities and not everyone in a team can be a team leader. It’s good to have leadership qualities for eveyone in the team, but to make a team work not everyone can be a team leader or an entrepreneur. If I’m a founder of a company even I would probably spend all my time working but please don’t expect employees who work for you to fill in varied roles and responsibilities to invest the same amount of time a Founder would be motivated to put in. You are setting yourself for a rude awakening! Focus on motivating younger generation to improve productivity in the minimum working hours possible! Would you be okay if an individual spend 70 hours a week without any productivity? long hours ≠ productivity.
