Absolutely stunning! The pink is perfect, as well as the hardware, but the feet just knock it out of the park! I would definitely buy this piece! Love it ❤!
Very pretty color and the feet looked great. A silver gilding wax might have worked with the other handles. I think you achieved what you envisioned for sure!!
Love it! It is quite the piece with the added gold feature on the furniture legs. Looks like just the right amount. It’s beautiful. The mild light pink is subtle and easy on the eyes, I don’t doubt the new owners will immensely appreciate your creative touch and style. The hardware seems to be the right fit… Thank you for sharing this transformation.
Looks great & the handles fit it well 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I think it would look better & blend with the handles more if u put more gold up around the drawers! The drawers can take it on the edges cos they’ve already got the curves.
Wow, this may be one of my favorite flips! I am not a pink person at all, but that is the one shade of pink I absolutely adore! Great call and the gold adds the perfect touch. Definitely Disney vibes. Also, I like how the pulls came out so I don't think you need to change anything!
When plugging holes to cover old pull holes- I use dowels, wood glue and then use a small amount of wood filler. Takes much less wood filler and is a lot quicker for wood filler to dry. Still works the same as filling with wood filler -but just a quicker process. You might try it next time. Beautiful work btw…Good luck!
Hi Kara, that color turned out beautifully, love the handles. Overall another fantastic flip. That desk will definitely make someone else a beloved piece for their home. You know I’m a big fan!
Hi! Would you mind sharing your pups name? If privacy is a concern, I get it. How many hours did this take? I’d say $450, but I’ve never sold furniture so I may be WAY OFF! Original handles work perfectly with the piece and now compliment the color. The feet are so nifty! Thank you for sharing/teaching!
Would love to know what you get for this pink desk if you sell it. Greal color choice. Some pinks get very "Pepto Bismal". This one stays light and bright.
I think this turned out beautifully! Your idea for the gold on the legs was brilliant. I agree to adding drawer liners. But, I also wonder if it would be too terribly difficult to paint sides of the drawers themselves. The original color is pretty jarring against this beautiful blush and could be a turn off to prospective customers.
Do you mind if I mention you in my videos. I get some ideas from you. I want to give you the credit. It would obviously be always positive. I just want to get permission first. Thank you 😊
Beautiful transformation! Quick question - if you're going to scuff sand the top, do you need to use the Simple Green cleaner/warm water approach? Thank you!
So beautiful but think the hardware could be more fancy. You could also put the guilding wax on the original hardware you bought where the silver is on them.
Hi Kara, from Queensland, Australia. Yes the feet was a briliant thought, I loved them. Please let us know how fast you managed to sell it (and if you don't mind) and how much for. I would think upwards of $300, hope so anyway. stay safe, Luci
I love the color of this piece! You have a lot of good information for a beginner like me. I do have a question for you. Do you ever paint fabric? I have a very dated chair I want to paint. The fabric is in great condition, so I hate to recover it. Just wondering if you have any tips in this area.
You did a wonderful job, but it’s not something I would personally be drawn to. You have a great design sense. I hope it will sell soon for a good profit.
Why do I have the feeling that you follow Katie Scott? Then again, maybe Katie Scott follows you. You both mirror each other in your techniques. Both of you have taught me A LOT!
I absolutely love this. but when you opened the doors, seeing the old colour took me out of the fantasy. Why did you paint the drawers as well? Im still learning about this stuff so maybe there is something i am missing. But regardless, its beautiful and that gold, if stunning!
A very pretty piece of furniture, but this pink and gold is not for me. But we all have different tastes, styles, colors..... and I know you will have no problem with selling it. I think I would have went with white or with that new beautiful green a lot of DIYers are using.
You always do an awesome job but not my favorite color. I flip some as well and unless it was a custom order would never choose this color. But hey it’s just my preference and area.
Not bad for a Tom Boy. It IS very prissy and I could see it used as a vanity. The pink is not that bad, for pink. Yes to the original hardware, not crazy about the legs, I would have used it only under the cabriole foot. Gold Ombre legs don't make no sense. But YOU know more than I do. I was thinking about those decoupage/decal flowers to adorn it, just a few. Maybe some ivy growing up one leg, then half up another, then a FEW random wild flowers on the sides? Done all very random, and unpredictable. It is so weird that men do not care about lined drawers in the slightest, but women LOVE them; THAT means the world to them. That peel and peel-n-stick is not crazy expensive, and you would only need one roll. As you know it is very easy to work with. I would even paint or paper the sides of the drawers. That dark wood is too much of a contrast, which would not bother ME. But... Not my style but looking at this analytically., as a designer. Last thought, do you have an oval mirror laying around? Beveled would be best, but you can make it look like a set. What is a vanity without a mirror? Also a round stool, with pleated skirt down to the floor? I KNOW you can sew a straight stich and use a stapler. Fabric should directly relate to the flowers and the light pink. Actually chintz would work, or a bedsheet from Goodwill? Thanks, and have a great week. Entertaining because I KNEW you were going to use glass pulls, then didn't. Plot twist. So Disney? Well it looks like you got it out of "Fairy Land". (I know you love me for my direct, brutally honest comments, boarding on rude. LOL) Please let me know if this sells as is, OK? I suspect it will, but might be a better profit margin with a few changes. It IS good furniture. IDK, but YOU KNOW.. Just my 2 cents. 🥰💅
I love your 2 cents! Lol yes I can see all of your points. I’ll let you know when it sells. I would have loved to do a transfer on this. These days I have to watch my overhead which is why I decided not to. If I was keeping it, it would have been fancy pulls, drawers lined and creeping flowers up the sides. Lol have a great week!!
What did you think of today's flip? Should I change up the handles for something different? What can I sell this for? Leave my your guesses below!
You probably could double or triple your profit if you heed or at least consider my last comment. ...maybe.
Loved the end result!! Great job!
Absolutely stunning! The pink is perfect, as well as the hardware, but the feet just knock it out of the park! I would definitely buy this piece! Love it ❤!
I love love that barely pink color! Looks beautiful! ❤
Those golden slippers are super cute!
I know what I’ll be doing for my granddaughter this Christmas 🎄 😊
It looks great 👍
Beautiful. The knobs are perfect.
This is one of my favorite desk makeovers ever 😍 I can’t get

Beautiful! She's got Katcha vibees!
Love it! Very feminine ❤
So pretty! I would love something like this for my daughter’s room 😍
This desk is absolutely gorgeous. I like those handles they don’t take away from the elegance at all.
I love the color, Yes, the drawers do need liners , flowers, with pink, green and light yellow and gold.
Very pretty color and the feet looked great. A silver gilding wax might have worked with the other handles. I think you achieved what you envisioned for sure!!
I would like fancy gold hardware but i think you worked with what you had and it looks awesome
You did the right thing!
Love❤ more decorative gold around the top edge to balance the rest of the desk.
It is perfect the way it is. The these handles look better than glam ones. The feet are just enough whimsy to be interesting.
This is one of my favorite colors from Country Chic. And those dipped feet. Yes, please!
thank you! I love them too!
Awesome! The original hardware is perfect. The color is very subtle and gorgeous!

Beautiful ❣️. The handles just fit… a happy accident. Live it 🥰. -Jill

I think the knobs look beautiful just the way they are and the whole thing is gorgeous
Handles look good
Wow, this may be one of my favorite flips! I am not a pink person at all, but that is the one shade of pink I absolutely adore! Great call and the gold adds the perfect touch. Definitely Disney vibes. Also, I like how the pulls came out so I don't think you need to change anything!
Thank you!! Wonderful compliment! I appreciate you!

I like the handles! It has an elegant simplicity! Great job on the legs…this piece is beautiful! 🦋
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the color, just a blush of pink. the feet turned out beautiful. the hardware worked out stunning, simple and classic! Perfect!
This is sooo pretty!!🥰
Thank you! Cheers!
It looks good but I prefer white gold. I liked the original pulls . The pink is shuttle .
That is gorgeous!!
So I love this. But curious, on the feet, did you have to put a top coat over gilding wax? Once done with it.
Handles were perfect! Should sell quickly🎉
I think so too!
Lovely job!❤️
Thank you! 😊
You nailed it sista 👏
Definitely a Beauty. ❤
Hi from France

Love it!! You have Inspired me to finally get back to what I love. Thank you 😊 I am even making videos but it is a learning curve. Lol
You can do it! So glad to inspire you! Major compliment!
Do you mind if I mention you in my videos. I get some ideas from you. I want to give you the credit. It would obviously be always positive. I just want to get permission first. Thank you 😊
I love your work. This piece turned out very elegant.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful transformation! Quick question - if you're going to scuff sand the top, do you need to use the Simple Green cleaner/warm water approach? Thank you!
Just stunning! Can you help with some info: how do I remove overstay without damaging the original finish? Would Simple Green work??
OVERSPRAY
Such a cute desk! Loved the transformation
Thanks so much! 😊
So beautiful but think the hardware could be more fancy. You could also put the guilding wax on the original hardware you bought where the silver is on them.
Great idea!
Looks great!! Love the color, gold feet & the knobs are cool !!
Thanks so much!
Looks great!
stunning!
Thank you!!
Cute and so prinessy
yes, I think it will be a hit here!
That’s cute. I like the light pink color and that you stopped gilding it at the feet. That was *just* enough. Any more would have looked tacky imho.
Agreed! Thanks for watching
Not a Disney fan, but you did a great job --- feminine without looking gaudy or childish 👏
Thank you! That’s exactly what I was going for! Appreciate you!
I like the original delicate handles. Have you sold? or are you keeping?
Have a good weekend.
Not yet! Just finished this one yesterday! Have a great weekend Donna!

Will do! I am hoping around $300 as well.
Very girly love it
Keep the handles

If you are going to d gold, then do gold, You could add more in the inset lines.
It’s just not my style. I find the more reserved sells better and quicker

She’s one of my dearest friends in the whole wide world :)
@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture, that's cool!
Looks great. Not a fan of gold on feet. They should have been blended into the white more feathery
I absolutely love this. but when you opened the doors, seeing the old colour took me out of the fantasy. Why did you paint the drawers as well? Im still learning about this stuff so maybe there is something i am missing. But regardless, its beautiful and that gold, if stunning!
Keep the original handles they look great
# REPLAY, HERE FROM DAVISON MICHIGAN
I’m from Michigan too!
A very pretty piece of furniture, but this pink and gold is not for me. But we all have different tastes, styles, colors..... and I know you will have no problem with selling it. I think I would have went with white or with that new beautiful green a lot of DIYers are using.
Wow this is just darling!! I love the legs💕💕💕
Thank you! Happy to have you here!
❤❤❤

Way nicer before
Definitely not my favorite. I am not a fan of "girly" finishes. Paint looked OK, would of preferred a little more depth od color int the tone.
Fair enough!
Looks unfinished
