I mean, sure she has a better understanding than I do to just ignore or re write Beethovens markings.. She is a great soloist and what do i know... But thats not what is written.
Karburax I have the Szerying/ Haebler version and its mesmerizing. But this performance is also wonderful, and the first movement is Beethoven at his most passionate and compelling

Setting the playback speed to 1.25 brings the whole performance closer to Beethoven's intended tempi for this sonata.
I agree with you.. The choice of tempo is a mistery to me, and the lack of observance to markings... Dots... Why??.

Number 4 and 9 " Kreutzer" are mesmerizing. listen to the henryK Szeryng / Ingrid Haebler version
