Truly magical, especially the part where the sailboat is present...I don't do many panoramas in general but I always wondered, how to do it at sea in the presence of boats. Because the ND doesn't help either, for the blurred image! Thank's Glyn.

    • @glyndewis

Exactly! In fact, I used to think that the most beautiful views with beautiful skies were taken when it was very windy but... this doesn't go well with the trees, which naturally move around a lot!

I have seen the basic technique used here before however, you took it to another level by breaking down the overall exposure into more manageable steps. Thanks very much Glyn for an excellent explanation and lovely final image.

what an excellent video !I am one of those who usually go out with an ND filter and there is no chance to use it , or the other way around, I find the place,
the moment, and I was not prepared! I do have a question though, when you start with your photos, you have your Raw unedited takes. In which moment did you convert that to an jpg,
as you show us with the photo (individual) that goes on the top...??? Thank you very very much! Best wishes from Uruguay.

@@glyndewis Thank you very much Glyn, yes I read in another answer that you made this for the vlog. Yet my question is valid, so you just work with the rawfiles, even when stacking all ? Or do you convert to Tiff at any moment
My usual process is to start with raw, and save files in tiff, I can't make medians as my subjects are from natural environments (From mammals to insects) So I save in tiff for later on work on denoising b4 going to Photoshop. Believe me it's cumbersome. Fuji xt4 here, for most of the work. (too much weight for my body with the older dslr) oh well, sorry for writting so long, but you are a nice chap with whom I feel you can talk ! Thank you veryyyyyy much! Good vibes!
