I lived in Hong Kong until 1995. In the old days, from Admiralty Station, to Ocean Park which was the next stop in the video, takes about 1.5 hours. I need to walk from the admiralty station to the surface, cross a lot of very wide and busy road in downtown, which I did not feel very child friendly, to the bus terminal, then ride double decker bus to ocean park. It might still feel ok when you are getting in. It was definatly painful when getting out, when you are tired after walking for hours, and need to line up for the bus with all the other 5000 tourists from ocean park, and travel an other hour on the bus, standing to down town, walk down to amiralty station, and other 30-90 minutes to home... standing. Now you just get in to this train, and you arrived amiralty station, at the platform level in 1 second.
