I've been a working musician most of my life and have long respected and love Eminence speakers. A few years ago I moved to Kentucky, a few dozens of miles from the Eminence factory. One day I was driving near the factory and, on a whim, decided to stop in and see if I could get a tour. I figured they would politely tell me to get lost and throw me out. Much to my surprise, they told me to come on in and proceeded to give me a tour of the entire operation. I have never met more congenial, friendly people in my life and the tour was fascinating. One thing I learned in the tour that I'm sure most people are not aware of (I wasn't) is that Eminence actually makes a lot of the speakers that other companies slap their own name on. The day I was there, they were making Yamaha-branded speakers. They also make some lines of JBL and Bose speakers, or did at that time. T his tour was about 10 years ago and Eminence had just built a factory in China. I would be interested to know how much production the company has transferred to the Chinese operation.
I love these kind of videos. Short documentary of American manufacturing. These are the kind of people that made America the greatest country in the world.

My grandfather was a engineer and designer for Verson Press and started in the 40s , retired in the mid 80s. He passed away a few years ago but he was an amazing person. It kinda hit me to see those Verson presses in your machine shop. Makes me love my American made Eminence woofer that much more. Great drivers and great factory.
Have used Eminence speakers for years (for subwoofers) high efficiency , good price , dependable performance and made right here in USA, what more could a sound guy like me want.
Absolutely right. Appears to be more of a Family company, with long term employees. Myself I have worked for a Large, Sound Hi Fi manufacturers in UK and Australia, that was many years ago. After retirement, I continue to make speakers, a most satisfying hobby. I was impressed with your Video, showing the factory and staff, looks like a great place to work. Thanks to 'Donald' the USA will be able to maintain its quality manufacturing too. Best of luck and Thank you for a wonderful look around.
@Dirk Knight I suppose if more people were to use high end ear phones (nowadays becoming more common & price-quality competitive) to listen in privacy instead of using the traditional speakers then that already reduces demand for speakers ?
Eminence truly are the definition of an American company that stand behind their quality and heritage. All of their products speak for themselves and are built with the upmost quality and craftsmanship. I use Eminence speakers in all my amplifiers and I’ve never ever had a problem or malfunction with my speakers! One of the great American companies that always make perfect products and stand behind their products and customers!
It's such amazing speaker factory, I'm from Mexico And i saw the video from A to Z and I was taken aback the quality they have while working, congratulations for your work and making something that I really enjoy listening to LOUD SPEAKERS MOVE THE WORLD!
The best speaker in the Eminence line up ,and I love are the Texas Heats . I have two pair in a four twelve vented back cabinet built in Chanute Kansas through an Ibenez tone blaster ,at 150 watts and they eat all of it and then some. A really dear friend gifted this to me one nite after a show.
Just loaded my 2x12 cab with Eminence CV 75’s!They sound amazing!!!Rich tone and punch and grit!!These are the best sounding speakers I believe I’ve ever heard in a cab!!!Thank you Eminence for making a great product at a fair price!!I will be a return customer in the future!!!!!!
What brought me here: randomly opened up the back of a Crate BlueVoodoo 4x12 cab that's been sitting in my basement from my brother's former band mate, discovered it has 4x Eminence Swamp Thang speakers. 😍😍😍😍 Amaze!!! US needs more companies like this. Solid product built by solid people. 👏👏👏👏👏
I restore vintage HIFI and repair newer sound reinforcement equipment. Eminence is my "Go-To" speaker supplier for all my replacement speaker needs. Quality sound and reliability is the standard here. I have seen how hard musicians are on their equipment, they really have to go all-out to break an Eminence driver. They always exceed their specifications. Thank you Eminence.
I have used Eminence speakers for more than 10 years now, and they have earned me respect there is a time I had only four Midrange speakers and two 18" single bass, for a band set up. The MC was using the DJs sound system but when he tried my Sound he refused to use the Other system...... Crystal clear sound good job... Eminence
I have been a speaker enthusiast for over 30 years. I have repaired rebuilt many different woofers, tweeters, mids. I've designed 100s of cabinets with complete schematics and drawings for customers. I use Eminence drivers in my cabinet demos. This is something I love to do. I really enjoyed watching this video. I had a lot of Eminence speakers over the years. They are solid performers and I recommend them to my customers. Again thanks for posting this video and you have a great day 😁
I bought guitar cabinet 1x12 Yerasov with eminence legend speaker month ago. And it's awesome sounding. Eminence company is really underrated. Good job guys🤟 Greetings from Russia🇷🇺
Best Bass speakers ever made. Been playing through them for 30+ years. They are punchy, clear and just sound sweet. Plus they are rugged and very hard to break. And if you do break one you can afford to replace it with new. Thanks!
I have a pair of Eminence Delta Pro-12A's (12" speakers) in my home stereo system and they sound great. I was so impressed and happy with the speakers, I sent the company an E-mail to let them know I appreciated their hard work. They sent me two Eminence "Tone" tee-shirts. Awesome company with awesome products. Buy American.
You ALL can be PROUD by Eminence on showing you're QUALITY products the way you make them...Nothing to hide!!! + you have Fair prises....I was always pleased to use you're products!...All the best from Holland(Netherlands) and be Proud on what you're doing!!!.
I love you eminence speakers! Back in the 90’s my band and I built floor monitors using your cheapest 15” speakers. Because we were a broke rock band. Let me tell you, we hammered the living shit out or them night after night!!!! Seriously we drove them to where they stopped working, left them in the rain, countless drunks spilled beer in them, the expanded metal grills are dented all to hell, I bet we hooked them up wrong many times... but still they work. WTF. I can’t believe it’s even possible. I only have 1 left after 25 + years, . Wherever I lost the other ones your welcome. Thank you Eminence for building a product even drunk in 90’s mosh pitting metal heads couldn’t destroy. You guys are awesome!! Dan Greving. Wi.
I recently bought a Peavey Bandit 112 Amp. The stock speaker wasn't bad, but I upgraded to an Eminence Texas Heat. GREAT sound! Far better than the stock speaker. I'm very impressed with Eminence. And no, I didn't get paid to write this, lol.
All I can say is in every aspect in every way you guys build the best speakers in the industry I've heard so many of your drivers and there's nothing that compares to the TONE of a eminence speaker
Good company. I have used Eminence speakers in several of my vintage Fender amps and they all function great. You'll hear nothing but praise from me for Eminence products.
30 years ago I bought two 200 watt speakers and two 40 watt tweeters. I am still using it today and am very pleased. I regret that I didn’t buy it yet... now it’s too late, you don’t supply to Israel. Good luck to you and continue for 120 years!!!
I'm from the UK and love my monitor audio speakers and love the fact that they are still made here in the UK and not China. I've been looking at building a pair of high power speakers with large 15" drivers, we have precision audio here but the prices are a little beyond what I want to pay and everything else I'm finding is "made in bloody China" even cerwin vega which I used to love back in the day are just China crap but after stumbling upon this video and being impressed with the quality devoted to the products I'm hooked and now know what I'll be using on my build. Thanks and love from the UK 🇬🇧
Excellent walk through of your facility and production techs. Glad to see a top notch company of people building great speakers in the USA. Love to see more of your speakers/woofers in the car audio market.
Amazing video. Nice to see all that goes into the speakers. But more importantly, the tenure of the employees. It speaks to the quality of the company and the product.
When I lived in a small town in PA, the only place that was paying more then minimum wage and you could have a decent life on that small salary was a heating mfg company. We made house furnaces out of $200 of sheet metal and they got sold for $1,200 USD.
I have one of your older models, a 12 inch 15 W unit, with Alnico magnet, which came from a scrapped Yamaha organ. I always did wonder where this very high quality driver came from. The first few minutes of your film revealed all. Thanks, and keep up the good work !
About 35 years ago, my job was reckoning and repairing speakers. The most challenging job I had was an Eminence speaker came needing the woofer reckoned. No parts dedicated to this speaker were available from my sources. Luckily, the 4" voice was in good undamaged condition and could still be used. The cone and spider had to be modified from available parts to fit the speaker. I was relieved and very satisfied when the finished product performed very well
I bought 4 Eminence beta 12 speakers. Each one is 250 watts, I replaced my Marshall vintage 30's and run them in stereo. I play 7 & 8 string guitars as well as 6 string guitars tuned down to C. I love the bottom end and I have to mic both sides for true stereo. That's 500 watts on each side. I love my Eminence speaker so much that's all I use. I even swapped out my Marshall 4x10 to get a monster tone. Weather I'm using my Marshall DSL 2000 100 watt head or my power amp with my line 6 HD Pro
This video is amazing . Love the video . Never knew there was so much involved in making speakers. Being a recording engineer producer, Ive always used Eminence speakers and horn drivers replacement parts for many years. Im even more of a fan of your company and brand after watching this video. Love the fact it's all made here in the USA. Thank you for this video tour
One Time I took my buddy downtown to the music store I used to work at and we bought 2 silver cone 12's that came out of some pa speakers. He had a amc javelin and took the back seat out and bolted a big baffleboard in its place with those 2 12's mounted hooked to a sparkomatic dual 40 watt amp. 2 miles away you could hear" breakin the law breakin the law" then hear the open headers and you knew who was comin. Those eminance 12's ruled!!!!!! Full range sounded good!
Good to know we still have a company in the US that builds speakers. Will be building a 2X12 guitar speaker so I'll order up from Parts Express when the time comes.
Very, very interesting... I've installed many of the Eminence drivers, designed enclosures for many of them...The video reminded me of the old EMS speaker plant on Magnolia ave Knoxville Tn back around 79-80 or so... many of the techniques used in assembly I seen in the assembly of Eminence drivers... Brought back old mems..
Nice to see people having fun and a chuckle during their work. If you do what you love, you never have to work. I really like your CV-75 8 Ohm Speakers. I could test them in a Palmer Cabinet on the Musikmesse last Weekend. Its exceptional how detailed you offer your speaker data/parameters. That really helps a lot.
Now days the cost of shipping products from China has gotten to the point where Made in the USA is looking a lot better. To bad more companies do not go this route and stop sending money to a country that does not like us all that much. The people might love us but the big officials that is another story. The Focal speaker company has a lot of robots doing the assembly process good to see real humans are still being used here.
It is very rewarding to see this film because we know that the brand EMINENCE manufactures its own loudspeakers (like JBL) and is not an assembler who claims to be a manufacturer. Eminence is a great pioneers of professional audio world industry. The loudspeaker Eminence is an example of very beautiful manufacture. There are not a lot of manufacturers in the audio industry, I want to talk about the integrated manufacturers that produce their loudspeakers and cabinets like JBL or RCF.
FASCINATING VIDEO! As I eagerly await the arrival of my Kappalite 3012LF before this week of gigs, I think back on all of the gear I've used and enjoyed over the years, and how 80 percent of it was made by Eminence. Warms the heart. Proud owner, no affiliation before the time of this post. COOL!
Thank you for the video tour. I'd never known until now just what steps were involved in producing a speaker. I don't know who Darlene is, but she certainly looks as if she's thrilled to be on camera!
A HUGE reason I bought the Mesa Boogie bass cabinets that I did is knowing that American made speakers reside in them.... Bravo on both Eminence and Mesa for making stuff in the USA!
Do they have Eminence slap a Mesa sticker on the back like Carvin and others do? Carvin is selling off their pro sound stock and I picked up a brand new Carvin labeled Eminence 12" 100W 8Ohm for $35 tonight. Maybe one of the two companies will spill the beans about how long they have been doing that practice. I have 1988 Carvin 1x12 combo with a Carvin labeled Eminence in it as well as a Hartke cab with a 15" Carvin labeled Eminence in it. I need to get a job there; do they hire the elderly?
My experience with Eminence thus far is Delta 15s in Speakerlab/klipshorn cabinets. A match for heaven and for the future hearing impaired. I love their commitment to building quality in this video. I DEFINITELY would not hesitate to use Eminence for my next move. Heard great results from friends too.
Eminence has dozens of designs for any given size. Be sure to consult with your supplier to ensure you get the right driver to best fit your budget and needs.
I love my Eminence Mavericks immensely. One of my favorite overall aftermarket purchases. You guys do fine work, and Tony was a huge help with tech-help.
Great video! I was using Eminence drivers back in the 70's as replacements for some of the Peerless units in the early Infinity speakers. Glad to see they are made right here in the USA!
they are very very kind people .. and i'm about to make some enclosures for several loudspeakers i recieved from them .. it looks very promising and as i already tested .. these speakers are having very good specs .. !! nice work !
I know to guys from the R&D, Tom and Matt...very very very cool and gentle guys!!!! They are extremey competents and Eminence speakers are no compromises components!!! Hell from Belgium!! Xavier, AudioFocus R&D manager
both my stacks are loaded with texas heat and swamp thang speakers ..so much beef and muscle. and still clean up good enough for me . and a American company. good stuff . thank you employees for taking pride in your work and providing me a great product 👍.
I've been using Eminence Speakers exclusively for about 30 years. It's all about tone quality and reliability, both of which are very highly abundant in Eminence guitar speakers. And speaking of tone, the guitar tone used in Tomo Fujita's "Tiny Tapper" is phenomenal! Thank you for your hard work and your dedication to helping us on our quest for tone!
lets give Eminence a big hurrah!! great products and now i know how they are made. Great job guys. I use the Asd-1001 drivers and they are amazing, best bang for your buck!!
I will use this speakers very soon to replace my old Celesteron on my Marshal ampflier. Heard about those guys and will try soon. Very important, they made in USA and quality must be on the top. 👍
Eminence, my favorite speakers company. I have the GA-SC64 installed in my Suhr Badger (2x12) and Deluxe Reverb. Planning on putting 4 GA10-SC59’s in my ‘59 Bassman LTD. Also love the EJ1250 and EJ1240’s.
What a brilliant video. All the employees seem happy with the work they do. And do it, they do it well. It's a pity I live in Australia otherwise I'd be asking for a job with folk.
Did you know that in France, "EMINENCE" is a well-known brand of men's underwear that dates back to 1944, so when we say in France that its amplifier is equipped with an Eminence loudspeaker, it often makes you laugh or smile!!
I live in the U.K. and bought a pair of lab 12s from a guy on eBay . They wer new unused in the box . When they arrived the surrounds had been dented slight by the factory packing . I contacted eminence to ask if it would impact the performance. They asked me to send photos and they took full responsibility and paid post and sent a replacement from Germany. Unbelievable service and a company I’d always have confidence in .

Still American made. Awesome!
My DIY Hifi speakers use Definimax 3015LF as woofers, and Beta12LTA as midranges. They sound phenomenal. Thanks Eminence.
Impressed. Also great it's made in USA and employing lots of people. I will try you guys on my next speaker build.
its good to see American manufacturing
this makes me want to buy eminence speakers...thanks!
+imaseeker100 yes dear .i also have this thought , but i'd prefer more to make business relation with them as partner

Eminence has dozens of designs for any given size. Be sure to consult with your supplier to ensure you get the right driver to best fit your budget and needs.
That was the idea
Thank you for employing America!
I love my Eminence Mavericks immensely. One of my favorite overall aftermarket purchases. You guys do fine work, and Tony was a huge help with tech-help.
Great tour, Eminence! I like the way you featured your people. I'll think about that when I'm using my 4x12" Tonkers and 2x10" Legend 1028's.

Please tell me 7 years later you are still making amazing speakers.
It's been seven years and yes, they still make speakers!
My Acme Low B-2 bass cabinet has two Eminence 10" speakers. It's over 20 years old and it still sounds great. Deep, rich bass sound.
Just bought a Red Coat Governor for my Peavey 6505+ 112 Combo. Did a lot of research beforehand. I think I found what I wanted. Thanks guys.
both my stacks are loaded with texas heat and swamp thang speakers ..so much beef and muscle. and still clean up good enough for me . and a American company. good stuff . thank you employees for taking pride in your work and providing me a great product 👍.
We are happy to see Ramses Electronic Imaging and Sound Systems among us.
Just received two 12” drivers from eminence today! Ready for my next build.
The lab 12 is an amazing sub!!!! Mind blowing!!
nicely done Eminence in presenting this great US manufacturer.
anthony is very professional and always followed up to my emails.. ended up buying 16 of your speakers due to his feed back
3:39 This is our final step in forming our "Titanium Chicken Pot Pie Plate".
Seriously, Great compamy and people!
Very well made video. Happy to see no cheap Chinese stuff
lets give Eminence a big hurrah!! great products and now i know how they are made. Great job guys. I use the Asd-1001 drivers and they are amazing, best bang for your buck!!
Definitely buying Eminence speakers after watching this. I love all the clips, even got the maintenance guys in there, way to go. Thanks!
Excellent video tour! I enjoyed it very much! Thank you for sharing.
I will use this speakers very soon to replace my old Celesteron on my Marshal ampflier. Heard about those guys and will try soon. Very important, they made in USA and quality must be on the top. 👍
How fascinating, I never knew Eminence Speaker was such a big company. Loved the video
Love from india .... hearing music from eminence is my dream
my god i love this company
Happy to see this guys. Best wishes.
Excellent
product, I like the quality of its materials, the tour of the factory is
great, thank you, greetings from Venezuela ..!
Fantastic engineering. So this is the anatomy of my subwoofers. Nice one.
Just a bunch of good Kentucky folks doing a bang up job, and doing it right here at home!
Looks like a great operation Eminence; state of the art all the way.
Da mucho gusto ver qué son personas las que arman manualmente cada parlante.
Did you know that in France, "EMINENCE" is a well-known brand of men's underwear that dates back to 1944, so when we say in France that its amplifier is equipped with an Eminence loudspeaker, it often makes you laugh or smile!!
