One thing that was left out is making it street legal. Turn signals and backup lights would sure make it a whole package. I believe UK units came with them. I mean everything on the Northstar Ultimate screams multi purpose vehicle. Also it would be nice to hear what kind of lifespan on this vehicle. $50k and how many miles??? With lower RPM and all the cooling I would hope for at least. 30k miles.
Love it, problem is it drags up the price of all the lower spec units. Its a Classic tactic by a lot of vehicle OEM's, develop a halo specification that many cant afford or frankly DONT WANT! Then the lower spec units are gauged against what is not needed. All out regular XP's will jump in price from this unit. Who here can afford (or need) a 4090Ti
Hopefully an episode is released talking about the differentials & all wheel drive system. I'm assuming/hoping everything is a lot stronger than the current generation.
As someone that been a automotive technician for 25 years just getting into sxs and watching them talk.about how they are just putting in tech that hinda has been using since the 80s is insane. Wonder why a razor cost so much? It's because polaris and can am have out of date engineering departments. Makes me wonder if they design on paper or have stepped up to CAD yet.
I love it but guys,,, I can buy a truck for the money your asking. I’ve got two ranger nothstars. Both with 7-8k miles. Your price is making me consider a truck.
I love that 1500XD. How big is it compared to a crew cab Colorado or Ford Ranger? For 50k I think I could build a nice compact truck and have a better ride and comfort. I’m in the market for a 1500 XD but trying to weigh the pros and cons. I do need it to be street legal. Nice video.
Will the plow set up from the XP-1000 work on the 1500? I realize some wiring may be different. I'm more concerned with the plow mount and blade. Thank you Frank
Awesome machine, every video makes me more excited for mine to arrive. No one has ever said if the XP 1000 snow plow (Glacier Pro) will fit on this. I have one that I just purchased last year (used twice) that I would like to use if it works........don't really want the 84" one if I don't have to get it.
The pro xp and turbo r needs this 3 cylinder. But make it true 1000cc with 200 plus turbo to keep it in the 1000cc less class. Bet if u beef it up and do few things to it. It would sound badass with a turbo.. look I just came up with good Idea for 3 cylinder motor update motor for the pro xp and turbo r. Bet it be a beast blow the can am out water… because we can’t put the pro r in it because it’s a 2 liter so it’s in its own lane. We need that 3 cylinder 1000cc to stay in that class and put whooping on the new maverick r…. All plus give the pro xp and turbo r 14 gallon gas tank to that be 2 more gallons
@scottash2866 the power range they are making the cvt from the XD1500 could work in even the pro R and never have to pull own and replace a belt trail side.
@@findingxeno3285 I get it's still a BELT driven transmission. Just because they try to pull off an "all steel" belt doesn't change that. Something else you can count on breaking, now leaking with the oil bath it takes. Taking a step back in the transmission world for Polaris.
I am glad Polaris is finally using technology the automotive industry has been using since 1996.
It's sad that Honda and all the other mfgs are actually still using 90's ATV technology!
Other way around bud 🤣 do a cage swap Honda has more car technology.
Thank you Pat and Chris, for this Look into the Motor, of this Rangermodel.

Never going to happen amigo. Too much liability for big blue.
Buhaha 50k and the recalls begin Polaris quality 👎
That starter is gonna be sweet to replace right.

How is the water pump driven?

Great video. I would like to know more about the transmission. Is this a Direct Drive or belt drive transmission?

Did he say 2000 hours between oil changes?
Why no unitized hubs in the front? I like it though
What’s the we stuff did you design it?
I like it!
I like it a lot!!!
What is the consumption and of this polaris price?
Be nice if they put actual reverse lights into the tail lights my yamaha has that for half the price.
The young engineer decided where the starter was going to go.
Great Information!
But seats are not reclinable, why?
What is a good road speed for that motor. My 16 highlifter is 30 to 35mph.
Let us know the price, cylinders, hp, feed of torque or NM, and consumption by liter or mpg?
Nice!
You can not get rest in 2023-2024 polaris truck because of seats are not reclinable, do you know it?

It should make 150 hp. Polaris can easily make 50 hp per 500cc.
I am glad Polaris finally added technology that has been in the automotive industry since 1996.
What is expected fuel mileage?
They stated it in the video: 200 miles best case, around 150 if you hoon it. Based on the 13.6 gallon tank, that’s roughly 11-15mpg.

Plus a 7 speed dct 💪💪💪💪

Turbo and put into pro R
Headlights to the off position turns dash to dark/night mode.....Too bad that's the opposite of what it should be....
All that and still has a belt?
Nope. Steel belt transmission. Much different than the belt you’re thinking of. Watch their video on it
@@findingxeno3285still a belt. And a more complicated belt to replace WHEN it breaks.
@@allfiveandthedog5343 just say you don’t get it and move on

These machines look great.. The price is shocking... not a lot of people are going to be able to afford these especially with 8% loans!
What's the price? $40K/$50K! For that money you could probably buy a Toyota Tacoma TRDPRO......
Polaris newest p.o.s. how many recalls and it doesn't have a new motor it is a engine
how much
Forget about engines release new transmision like DCT
its nice but i would buy a jeep for that price
Supercharger it
Anyone that can afford this is not hauling rock or doing any landscaping! This is for the filthy rich.
Derp I repeated talking points
Classic shrinkflation, the price of a new small truck at half the size
He called the pro R a 2 liter engine. Foreshadowing or simple misquote???
