I don’t go through Nashville very often… but I 100% agree with you. Every time I do go through Nashville it’s worse and worse.
Going through Nashville is pretty much a dance and usually when I get to Clarksville I start looking at Google Earth to figure out which roads are busy and which ones are not and by the time I hit the briley, I can usually get through town without too much pain
It sucked 25 years ago. And Chattanooga was a pain in the ass anytime during the day. Have you been hearing about all the trucks getting hung up on those skinny mountain roads in TN and NC since 40 closed? It's crazy.
I think they're still a small fuel stop on the left,a few miles from Walmart. I like to check in with shipper/receiver and if they till me come back, I'll PC out look for a spot to stay and PC back. It works and doesn't kill my elog
There is but there's no parking there. You can go in there, spend about an hour but then they make you leave.
@truckerdaveandred6731 didn't know that,
Hey, you got it done, right? On an unrelated random subject, I have noticed that Brownie Hawkey camera on your shelf. I also have one complete, still has the flash diffuser. Mine even still has a roll of film in it. I have not used that camera since 1970. I wonder if any of it is recoverable.
You might have to call Kodak to answer that one. I do know that getting regular film developed it's getting harder and harder these days but there are still guys that do it. My grandfather was a professional photographer and I guess I got my love of cameras from him.
I bought that particular camera back in the early eighties at a garage sale if I remember right for something like 50 cents. When I was a kid, those were the go-to and they were everywhere but you don't see him a lot anymore now
