The narrative that 'the crowd wasn't up for it' was absolutely not the case! There were simply a lot of empty seats because of the Train strikes across the UK. I work in London every week and was very excited to go to UFC London as I managed to get access to buy tickets online. Due to Train strikes I couldn't go as most lines in to London were cancelled. The day before tickets were selling online for £35 so I imagine a lot of fans lost a lot of money and couldn't attend. Such a shame really because it was obvious the atmosphere wasn't the same, even through the screen.

Tom Aspinal is a beast. He runs through anyone at heavyweight right now. I think the best fight right now Aspinal vs Jailton.
I quite like the Aspinall call-out - if he gets someone like Gane in Europe, it'll be a bigger fight than Pavlovich at the moment. Aspinall can get Pavlovich AFTER he gets through Jones, if he can get through Jones.
Tom Aspinall is the best heavyweight in the world and now seems to have the belief. Paul Craig is a character and Murphy has talent. The UK has some decent fighters now which can only be good for mma in this country.

Only things that make me nervous about Aspinall is Jon kicking that knee and how high he holds his chin up when getting into distance. He’s fast enough to not get caught by most heavyweights, but someone with fast hands could tag him.
Yup the high chin tendency would make it really tough for me to bet on Tom in a fight vs Pavlovich
@@WhopperWhopperWhopper247 if his chin holds up he would almost definitely be able to get the fight to the ground to use his grappling and sub threats. Pavlovich has really fast hands and hits hard. Really good fight on paper. Hope they go with this instead of the winner of the Gane fight.
@@EchoZuluPapaKiloexactly, it’s like Aspinall and Pavlovich are each others kryptonite in a way and it’d just be a matter of who is able to exploit the others weakness first. Would be an incredible fight and would also love to see either of them fight Jones
The knee I get, but the chin is probably the last thing to worry about versus Jones, I'd be more worried he gets wrestled and/or submitted. It's hard to tell the skill of the HW guys, since the division is so bad
@@Fillegubben yeah there’s no reason to fear Jones’ power. His dynamic striking seems to have waned in his final fights few fights at light heavyweight and I doubt his larger frame at heavyweight will help. I was more talking about other people with fast and/or heavy hands. Let’s face it; Jones likely has 2-3 title defenses left (if that), but Tom will be around for a long time if he’s able to stay injury-free.

I skipped the interview with the fake wrestler as soon as he needlessly insulted a real fighter for being boring. The guy said himself he's a fighter not a talker, his like story and his personality are genuine and authentic.
