Hi thank you so much for your video it was so great! I do have a question I do love annotating and I annotate every book I read. I have the kindle scribe but I hate the size of it, so unnecessarily large. So my question is, if I’m annotating with the app that they give will I be able to send those annotated books to an email or something? Like the whole book with all your annotations in the margins? Kindle lets me do that, and that’s just a great way to keep them safe! If my scribe dies I could “loose” all the annotations if I didn’t do that.

They said you can send the annotations to email but as of now you can’t send the whole book with annotations. I don’t quite understand how the annotations would show up without the book but that’s what they said! I hope this helps🫶🏻
Hello. I’m curious on the speech-to-text feature for reading pages. I have dyslexia & a lot of eReaders do lack this accessibility need. Some have screen reader, but it’s not the same. I want the pages to be read, not the entire content on the screen. I need a simplicity & to be able to press a button & it simply read to me. Not many content creators talk about this features. Many eReaders don’t have the feature. And it is a make or break for me when shopping around.
Savanna, may I ask, did you/do you have any screen comparison between a kindle and the b751 without the light on reading a book?
I was mostly determined to go with the b/w version, but your video has me reconsidering, depending on how dark dark is compared to the no-light kindle?
I know even the b/w version of the 752 is darker (like my Bigme inknoteS)
Hi! Sorry I know it’s been a bit since you asked this. Are you still wondering? If so, can you tell me exactly what you want me to check? When you say “without the light on” are you referring to the front light on the Bigme device or a house light? I believe you’re referring to the device and that you don’t want a front light, but from what I can see online, all the Kindles now have front lights in them as well. The Bigme e-reader is in stock on Amazon (I have the link in the description) with free returns so that’s always an option if you want to test it for yourself to make sure it’s exactly what you want!
@@withlovesavana Hi. Thanks for getting back 8) Actually I went ahead and got the black & white anyway for the longer battery life, and even Bigme says the b/w is fast than the color. I think Bigme technology is simply darker across the board, because even this B751 black and white without the color layer and without wacom layer, is still as dark as my 10" Bigme with wacom layer. I think the color model would require me to use the device frontlight more than I want to.
Either way, like your review, I think I'll enjoy this little 751 even black and white because of the size, power, weight and physical buttons. Even though yours is color, your review helped me to make another purchase - and I'll just use my 10 incher for more serious work than cross-platform daily reader and quick notes.

Hi! planning to order one next week. Just wondering if it allows you to annotate with the stylus when reading using the kindle app? if not, is there a way to open/transfer my book from the kindle app through the device library so I can annotate? Another question, I have a big collection of epubs and pdfs on google drive, can I log in and download my books from gdrive using this device? thanks in advance, hope you notice this. 🥰
Hello🤗 Ahh, I’m so excited for you📚✨ I don’t believe you’re able to write directly on the “page” in the Kindle app (not that I’ve figured out) - just the typical highlighting and making text notes on those highlights. I also haven’t figured out a way to export books to the device library directly from the Kindle app. You would have to download the book in the correct form (epub, pdf, etc.) and then send it to your device. It tells you how to get it there in the user manual!! As far as Google Drive, it is one of the apps that you can download to the device via the Google Play Store. Idk if you’d be able to download the books straight from Google Drive to the device (I don’t have any saved there or I would check for you) BUT if not you will be able to send them to the device from your computer since they’re in the right format already and then you can annotate. I hope this helps💗
I just saw that you can connect your Google Drive and upload books from the library to Google Drive straight from the e-reader so I'm hopeful that you could download books from there as well!
Does it have BT technology to pair with a keyboard, smartphone, earbuds, or a speaker or when wifi is not an option? Thanks for the video.

Best Review Video --- but ONE QUESTION.... how is the brightness WITHOUT the front-light on? I avoid color ereaders because I don't want to use a front-light and they seemed tooo dark. Thanks
Awe, thank you☺️ There is a setting called “lights” and the symbol is a crossed out light bulb. Would that be the front light? If so, it is pretty dark with the house lights on and you can’t see the screen with the lights off. :/

I've wanted the color smaller model after finding the big brother (InknoteS) too big. But I don't want to use a front light.
Seems the b/w model may be the only option.
Besides the light and color...how do you find the reading and writing experience on this model? (B751 c & b/w are the same in every other way).
@jgboutilier7560 I really like the reading experience! The buttons are nice and it’s great that you can have your reading apps right on the device. I honestly don’t use the writing function. I think it works well enough but if you want a really sophisticated writing experience (like for notes or drawing) I would definitely lean more towards the iPad/Apple Pencil route.
Would you recommend this over the new Libra colour 2. I will be receiving this one in the mail today. I ordered it a few days before the Libra colour Was announced🤦
I can understand the frustration! I honestly haven’t seen (or tried) the Libra Colour 2 in person so I can’t say which I think is better. From a quick search I can’t tell if the Libra has as many features. Maybe that and the dimensions/weight are something to consider! I hope you love whichever one you end up with! 📚😊
@@withlovesavana I received my b751c in the mail yesterday and I am happy with it. I think the Libra colour is a great SAFE choice. It's a well established and trusted company imo. I believe it has some degree of waterproofing? That's nice for camping and bathtub reading. Also, does the Libra 2 have a Wacom tech? The pen mine comes with is fine for what I need it for, although Wacom really is the best. That being said, I do like having the flexibility of android 11. I think the b751c also has a little more processing power? Not that it's really necessary for reading, lol
I’m glad you’re happy with the Bigme! 🎉 I do think waterproofing is nice. I typically use my Kindle Paperwhite if I’m in/near water! I’m not sure about the differences in pens. Thanks for sending an update✨

wen using it as a e reader like for manhwa can it do pinching to zoom in or out?
In the Kindle app when reading normal text the pinching makes the text larger or smaller. I downloaded a comic book to check if it would zoom on a picture page and I can’t get it to.
Hi! I wanted to follow up and say that I do think you should be able to. I am able to pinch zoom in/out on the user manual for the device.
When BigMe sends you their product how could I trust you do reliable review :D And when you have paid coop it would be nice to say it :D

Thank you for your practical use review! I really like this form factory. Amazon should be releasing a kindle colour second half this year. Still, I'd think bigme or kobo libra colour might be better. Battery will never be the same on colour devices because they use too much power. The technology is one of the newest, but because of how eink display works, it will always be laggier than LCD.

I love Audible too! You can download the Audible app from the Google Play Store and listen to books directly through the e-reader’s speakers or connect earbuds via Bluetooth. I hope this helps😊
The software is trashy, the hardware is awkward.
Don’t ask me how I know, wasted £300 on it, should have checked Amazon reviews beforehand.

I'm thinking about buying this device for both leisure reading and to read uni PDFs (I'm a psychology student and the headaches from reading from my iPad are getting strong 🥲). I just want to see how PDFs behave in this thingg
Yes, I hope it works for you! This screen should definitely be nicer on your eyes for reading than an iPad. The page turn buttons will be nice too!
