@@MrThunda51 FFXIV changed copyright agreement etc and posting OSTs like Mekkah used to isn't allowed anymore.
@@doomiesama4741 I don't think it ever was allowed though. I figured that's why all of his videos featured gameplay as well.

Fun fact, 1.0 players have a special Chocobo mount which is their original one from 1.0 that indeed waited for them for 5 years.

Hey good news Mekkah, they reverted the copyright stuff back to normal so you can post endwalker music without fear of copyright issues (as long as you do it in the same formate as you’ve been doing)

Somehow, whenever this song plays, I just imagined my character taking great care of his Amaro in the Source, and going on grand adventures with him, culminating in them riding away in the setting sun when the tune of "Our journey will never end" plays.

I got it a month ago or so and i fly around randomly for about an hour. Feels soooo nice. Fav mount music.
Reading through the recent comments, it appears Endwalker music won't be uploaded b/c of new policies. This makes me so sad. Mekkah Dee's videos are so good. The length is one of my favorites in that it's looped quite a bit before it stops.
What did they change about the policies?
@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax I think it was something with the material usage policy. I saw ppl commenting about it when Endwalker came out that the policy was saying you couldn't have just game footage with the songs solely for the purpose of listening to the music. I think I saw ppl said this was newly added to the material usage policy in December of 21 too so right around Endwalker's launch ☹️

@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax I think it's still in place: I never see Mekkah Dee's videos on UA-cam music anymore. However, I do see UA-cam videos with the music on here (they just aren't listed under music, it's like listed as "gameplay footage" and it's usually of fights or something in the videos). So I think Mekkah Dee's style of videos of just exploring with the music playing ended with Shadowbringers 😔
@@ssj4mathgenius Mekkah Dee was the person who inspired me to create my old channel, which was taken down due to copyright issues (for another game, not FFXIV), but my intent is to basically carry on his legacy on my new channel. And although I have very big shoes to fill, I will do and am doing my darndest.
I feel so sad that Mekkah Dee doesn't post any more. It sounds silly I guess, I started with my partner in Shadowbringers and every time I fell in love with a piece of music, I would come to youtube and find a video of Mekkah Dee playing it - back when it was current even! It sort of felt like he was coming along the journey with us, every post was of when the content was new to him too. I also really appreciated that he was clearly a long time final fantasy fan like both of us. Of course there are a few other channels that post XIV music, but I always felt the most connected to this one for some reason.
I hope he got to play Endwalker, and loved it as much as I did, even if he is not posting any more. I hope you're okay out there Mekkah Dee!
Mekka, I said this to Dude, but I also wanted you to know I had to leave FFXIV behind years ago. Its full of ghosts for me. But the music, I can't leave behind. I've come back and listened and even used you and Dude's channels as soundtracks for my D&D games I DM. This has been healing to me. I wanted to thank you for posting these all these years, you've helped on guy at least. Thanks!

I got my Amaro October 30th. This theme is so beautiful, and calming. They have easily become my favorite mount, especially in the Source xD

Your music has brought me nostalgia. When I was younger my father introduced me to FF with WoFF, I now listen to you're playlist all the time to get inspired to make my own music. It is now 2023 and he unfortunately passed in January.
I stopped playing FF and a lot of other games because I usually played them with him. I now just completed WoFF to the point of where I can unstack Reynn And Lann after several months of not playing a game majorly. Because of the nostalgia from your videos.

Materials usage license got updated to not allow uploads for the music anymore unfortunately
@@lapisfengari2428 I just read through the rules for that again and I didn’t see where that was banned. From what I was reading, the normal method that Mekkah used still is within the guidelines as of Dec 5th. If I missed something, could you point it out for me?

Could you upload the endwalker dungeon boss theme? The ones out now are poor quality.
Square Enix changed their terms on releasing music on youtube, so I don't think they could.
boy oh boy let me (temporarily) unsub right now. It'd be a gut punch to have acidental dungeon names/thumbnails spoil me day 1.
Dungeon names aren't really a spoiler, and Mekkah is very careful not to show spoilers in thumbnails/titles anyway.

This song is very pretty. But it sounds too much like chrono cross over world theme of the home Serges home world.
