Saw her last night in Cincinnati and have to say she is one stunning woman to see up-close. Great show for those of us who braved the weather reports. Both are talented.
Such an awesome cover ....loved this performance at the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues fest....wish I would've recorded that entire performance it was so brilliant...made me a fan!
I heard this song Once heading to work at 6 in the morning walking through park and I couldn't believe how much I loved ever minute of it. That was 15 years ago ❤🎉
so happy to have found these guys - I love Luke Doucet and now with Melissa - what a dynamic sound. Hope I can see them somewhere in Ontario.......hummming along to I'm on Fire.
once in a while the human species does get it right ; i think i hear the love they feel for each other in each note ; poets could learn a few things from these gifted minstrels
I've probably posted this elsewhere but i'll say it again this is A great cover the point behind a cover in my opinion is to make it sound like you actually did it originally this has a very original flair to it look forward to hearing more!!
So much more satisfying than the original--it always ended too soon. I love this duet. And I love your band. I first heard you on Q and then bought your albums from iTune. Love you!!
Saw you guys at the Festival Lumière last night in Montreal. Never had heard of you and given that, heard any of your music. I"m now musically smitten. God Bless
I saw you guys at the Salmon Arm R & B festival yesterday and enjoyed your music very much. I am checking your videos this morning.... This one is also awesome... I have become one of your fans. Good luck !
Is it just me or does any one else think that she looks soooo hot on those skin tight jeans? Anyways, I've just heard this duo artists while driving home listening to my Nick 13 radio station on Pandora. I quickly came home and looked them up and I'm glad I came across this video. This live version in a studio or where ever they were in sounds awesome especially with those guitars they chose to play. I expect to love the rest of their music so I'm off to listen to the second song I will ever hear from them, which ever song comes up next on UA-cam.
Beautiful singing by both, although there are some weird riffs happening on that gorgeous Gretsch. Is Luke Doucet intentionally playing that way? When he lets rip it sounds like early Mark Knopfler with some added weirdness... Gotta listen to more Whitehorse, what a pair.
folk my friend.,..in canada folk music sometimes includes some country elements, bluegrass, celtic and even rockabilly..but its still folk...blue rodeo is a great example of that...
wow, i love these guys, an i hate country, an i mean hate!!! but wow they are awesome, i love it!!! this is the first country duet that i have ever liked, let alone loved, an i do love this, amazing sound together, awesome guitar sound too...
I must admit this is a great cover ; i loved the original this has a very interesting sound to it i would say the point of covers is to make it sound as if this was your own original but great job nonetheless!
hands down my favorite muscians. If I was ever to win a truckload of dough the very first thing I would do is see if Luke and Melissa could play at a private function 'Elton John style' - where I'd give the band (Luke and Melissa) and few million clams for the absolute crazy ridiculous privilege of playing 'specially for me and my pals. In the interim: I can't wait until they are uber famous so I can say I knew them when they played (and totally KILLED) the folkfestival circuit in Canada.
Clearly, Springsteen has written deadly songs. He catches too much flack for his bombastic stuff. Not sure what good a rock star is if they're not bombastic.
Saw her last night in Cincinnati and have to say she is one stunning woman to see up-close. Great show for those of us who braved the weather reports. Both are talented.
There is literally nothing I don't love about this duet!! Absolutely FANTASTIC rendition of this song!!
Whitehorse closed with this tune at Massey Hall tonight along with Daniel Romano singing harmony. Truly amazing.
I always love covers that sound better than the original.
Wow! Such a talented and focused pair of musicians!
Fantastic voices. and great guitar work. Luke & Melissa ...really top notch.
Beyond talented Canadian Duo
Love them
This is the best cover of this song I have ever heard.
One of Mr.Springsteen"s songs he SHOULD HAVE NEVER RECORDED! Whitehorse, knocks this song outta the park! Arrangement is everything. Ask Manfred Mann!
Such an awesome cover ....loved this performance at the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues fest....wish I would've recorded that entire performance it was so brilliant...made me a fan!
great song
Just beautiful. When it finishes, I just put it back to the beginning.
Calgary Folk Fest 2021 here we come!!!
I heard this song Once heading to work at 6 in the morning walking through park and I couldn't believe how much I loved ever minute of it. That was 15 years ago ❤🎉

I Love and have nothing but respect for the Boss, but I cannot think of a better cover or tribute. Well done Whitehorse.
Just heard them for the first time in KW last night and was completely blown away!! Excellent entertainers!!

Yes the most adorable couple in Canada. Love you - Je vous aime🐎
So much more satisfying than the original--it always ended too soon. I love this duet. And I love your band. I first heard you on Q and then bought your albums from iTune. Love you!!
This version is good, but it didn't quite reach the climax I needed.

Good luck !
Perfect!!!!!!!
They are the best thing to happen to Country music in a very long time. All this rock country is so same old same old same old American junk.
echt klasse!!!!
This is the best performance I have seen on the internet in years! Awesome top class performance. Where can I buy the CD?
Epic!!!!!
come to montreal
Is it just me or does any one else think that she looks soooo hot on those skin tight jeans?

agree with Nicole, so glad iv found them

i`m one fire with this song, every version has some deep blues- sometimes i like guana batz version another day a.a.bondy or this one
besttedschmidt, Guana Batz yes!!!
I love your electric guitar i wonder what brand is it?
That's a Gretsch White Falcon.
Great Canadian vid. Yes, I like Luke's guitar ( and Melissa's hot too ! ).
I love the boss he is the man! This is good though, good job!
you're tone deaf ......diagnosis...you're welcome.
GOOD SINGERS
I want his guitar
anyone got the spotify version?
you bet 🤠 open.spotify.com/track/1OOKNVvMaCB2brMrruBC06?si=9e3c57b7731e43be
Cute couple I hope they are still together.
Wow.
❤️❤️❤️
catch them tomorrow night
Where was this filmed?
wow, i love these guys, an i hate country, an i mean hate!!! but wow they are awesome, i love it!!! this is the first country duet that i have ever liked, let alone loved, an i do love this, amazing sound together, awesome guitar sound too...

This is a slow song and it should be played slow. The Boss usually can't be beat but Whitehorse's rendition is incredible.
Who has the better female voice, him or her?
Yes, he's got that drop D tuning thang goin' on!....Swell.
Better than the original !
hands down my favorite muscians. What a surprise for me. Better than the Boss. Wow. ongratulations.
I'm on fire too
Listen to the original...no one beats THE BOSS...
Loved it. Remember no percussion or bass. Very difficult song to pull off.
Matt who? Whitehorse beyond rocks.
Decent cover. Slowing it down looses some of the intensity that Bruce was putting through.
I disagree,I think this is an excellent version.Yes there is no comparing to the Boss, but i thought they brought a little country twist to it.:)
Your opinion. Some of us might disagree.
Clearly, Springsteen has written deadly songs. He catches too much flack for his bombastic stuff. Not sure what good a rock star is if they're not bombastic.
you wish...
listen to the matt andersen version
the mark of a truly intelligent man is to MARRY someone like her. smart smart move.
springsteen sucks!!!!! LOVE your sound !!!!
Elmer fudd did a cool version of this song slso
easely better then bruce,no contest
I'll respectfully disagree. This, to me, feels like a kitschy country version.
